Korean, bought 2000, 22 frets, excellent sunburst, replaced the std pickups with Kent Armstrong PAF's it really does sound like a 335 now, the originals are very dead sounding.

I play Larry Carlton and Bill Nelson, so I need a real 335 sound, this does the trick - When I bought it I compared a '60's 345 and a 335 and they played excactly the same. I had the money for a 335 but |I saved myself 700 quid. the sound was different, nothting that good pickups can't fix.
Likes:- build quality, excellent standard of paint finish, sound.
Dislkes:- none.

Plays like a dream, but you always know it's not a gibson, that's the only thing, I've had a few gibsons before and you just know it isn't one. I can live with that when people ask me what guitar I'm playing

I am trying to find out the year and country of origin from Tanglewood. The hardware seems sound, decent tuners, knobs, switches etc. Nothing dodgy there. A Gibson 335 copy, with two gold-plated humbuckers. The materials are unknown, but the whole thing has a very solid feel to it.

The Chicago is great for jazz and blues, with full, warm tones in the rhythm pickup, and a decent clean bite in the bridge pickup. For the money, the sound is excellent. I use it via a BOSS GT-5 multi-fx and Marshall G80R. The sound is great, although at high volumes there seems to be a feedback issue to address.

The guitar was set up for me, but I've had to bring the action up a little to get a decent bend from the top E. I like to be able to get a tone-and-a-half without difficulty, and that's proving tricky here. The neck is very sweet, nice and wide and flat with big frets. The guitar is at least second hand, and maybe around ten years old or more, but it's in perfect condition, and does feel very sturdy.

As above, the thing feels very reliable, and hasn't aged noticeably yet. Everything is still perfectly fitted and secure, with no damage to any part. I would gig it without a backup quite happily, especially as my other guitar is in any case nothing like this style-wise.

For the money, this machine is as near to ideal as I could wish for. It has obviously stood up perfectly over the years thus far, and with care and the usual maintenance, I expect it to serve me well. Recommended.

Korean made, 22fret, nice veneer on the top. I bought this for 200UKP off our drummer, and it's absoleutly lovely. Really solid, clear sound, wonderful to play. It's a pretty good copy of a ES-335, and really looks the part. It's got gold hardware too, and looks lovely. I think these go for about 400ukp new, and they are very good value at that. Wonderful warm tone, nice to play, even unplugged.

Very clear sound, no buzzes or rattles. I play it through an old Vox tranny amp, and it sounds very jazzy, very precise and clear.

Action is great, build quality is great, though I think my machine heads could do with a tighten. They feel a bit loose, and I knock it out of tune fairly easily. I'd prefer heavier strings, but this is nothing. Very well made guitar

Very solid guitar, but I'd be wary of using any hollow body live. I don't think it would take much to punch a hole in the top, but this is true for all guitars of this type, not just this one. I'd be quite happy to gig this without back up, and I think it'll last a long time. The only snag if it does go wrong, is that you can't get to the electronics without taking the top off. Could be expensive.

This is the only humbucker based guitar I've got, and I like it. I'm thinking about sticking a stacked humbucker on my regular guitar, a US Telecaster, just from playing this. If I lost it, I would probably get something similar, if not the same...hmmmm, maybe a thinline tele.... If I saw one going for the same price I paid, then I'd defo get another one.
