Sound : 5
Sounded good but it doesnt have the bottom end or resinence of a martin, but it not a martin. i use an SWR acoustic amp. a line 6 dl4 and a boss tuner, the swr is the best sounding acoustic amp available.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
as far as looks it is a beutifull guitar, the craftsmanship is very nice, No noticable blemishes, built well and sturdy.

HEAR IS MY DILEMA
The es system is extreemly cranky, easily overdrivin and not very loud. I Went through 3 of these guitars all of which had problems with the es system, they all sounded like a Bad ground issue it made a really anoying/loud static noise, i almost threw the guitar to the ground in the middle of a show it was so bad, My opinion i have talked to a few different dealers which had the same problem. Stay away from the ES system it is bad news and not reliable for the Seriouse giging musician

Reliability/Durability : 2
Not reliable as stated above It doesnt do me any good to buy a guitar that sounds good unpluged and sounds HORIBLE PLUGED IN. It was not dependale and it let me down in the middle of shows multiple times. The frets seamed real cheap wore really quickly. I ended up taking this guitar back for 2 more then finnaly switched to A martin which i should have done in the first place. Martins a far more Reliable and soud so much better, Cant go wrong with a fishman pickup.

the guy at taylor was worthless didnt want to admit there was a problem with these guitars and he Basicly told me i dont know how to use the guitar corectly. Thats a load of crap piss on taylor.

Overall Rating : 1
I have been playing for 8yrs toured, giged recorded multiple albums, run sound and am one of the biggist tone Nazis there are. I know a alot about sound for both acoustic and electric im no beginer, because of the problems and lack of help with taylor they have lost my buisness and i will never buy another one ever. I will stick with martin. I have gone thru mor equaipment than most people will have in a liftime, I own 2 martins, an ESp deluxe 1000, 71 goldtop les paul, pa gear, 70's fender twin, the new randall head with the moduals, Custum mesa boogie maverick, swr acoustic amp, boss tuner line 6 dl4. etc.

Put your $ in a martin, it may not be as trendy as a taylor right now but the have been together alot longer and are far better guitars, spend a $1000 or more and you will get your $ worth
