2004? Taylor 110 with on board blender from Fishman. Undersaddle piezo plus mic, notch filter, bandpass mid and three band EQ.
Solid spruce top,lam sapele sides.Mahogany NT neck. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Chrome winders. Black fiber binding. Blax Lexan headstock plate.

Wonderful sound. It sounds like the room sound through and amp. The realism of the blender system through and amp is the reason I bought it. These are being phased out, so get this and avoid the cost (and unrealistic sound, in my opinion) of the Expressions system.

Easy action, great feel, wonderful tone. Not a think out of place.
And the battery is easy to get to as well. Great Satin finish, spruce top and striped mahogany sides.
Reliability/Durability

Live playing is what I bought it for. Durable? Yes. I had one fall off a hanger on a mic stand, and didn't even scratch it. Lucky, I guess!
I will gig with it with no backup tomorrow!

Been playing sine 1965. I love Taylors and the great thing is, the tone is not that bad compared to their zillion dollar ones...so great! If it were nipped, I'd like to get a 714 with onboard pickup.
And thanks for the 2nd string button!!!
