Well, it's a 2004 model of the 314 Taylor, obviously made in the US. Plain acoustic guitar without cutaway or amplification. I let you look at the other reviews for detaily (or the taylor website).
Nice wood choice though, perfect finish (not even a drop of glue visible)

Sound : 10
I play mostly fingerstyle blues / classic music and this guitar is perfect for it. Nice sound with a spectrum slightly towards the high end, perfect for fingestyle. Sound is rich with very nice sustain. very good harmonics. With the Elixir factoty chosen strings I am more than satisfied, never tried another brand of strings on it.
Medium strumming is also fine, but of course a dreadnought shape does do better on this.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Factory set up is excellent no remakrs. the neck is just sweet, very easily playable, nice fingerboard also, plays very quickly.
Perfect craftmanship.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I'd say I would not use it live since I find it rather expensive. I have a takamine G series for that. I would cry for days if it got destroyed during stage manipulation.
But after 1 year of playing it's still 10/10

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to call

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing for 8 years now. I use a Les Paul standard, takamine G serious and obviously theis taylor. If it would get lost/stolen I would buy it again (unless I had much more money and I would buy a taylor 714).
I love it's playability and sound. It's exactly the sound I have been looking for.

The 314 GA is all made with solid wood (sitka for the top, sapele
for the back and sides). It comes with Grover tuners and tusq
nut and saddle. The top has a glossy finish, the neck, the back
and the sides have a satin finish.

Sound : 9
The sound is bright, with a lot of sustain. It's perfect for fingertsyle. I don't think is the best for flatpicking and strumming,
because ic ould become a little messy due to the high amount
of sustain and harmonics.
My guitar was made just a month ago. I guess that the sound will
become even better in the next months once it's played
enough.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The slots in the nut were way too high when I bought the
guitar, therefore I start feeling pain in the fingers while I was
playing it at the first frets.. The saddle looked perfect, the neck was perfectly straight, and the action at the 12th fret was fine.
Therefore I lowered the slots in the neck with sand paper..
I hope I did a good work. The action now is terrific, and the
sound is great.
Apart from the high nut (which surprised me, because I was told that each Taylor guitar is acrefully set-up before it leaves
the factory) the fit and finish are outstanding. This guitar is not
only a pleasure to play, it's a pleasure to look at.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I just bought the guitar. I can't judge its durability.
However it seems very well builtz. I will take the humidity
under control and I hope I will be happy with the 314 GA for many
years to come.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have not used the customer support so far.
However, I jusdge the Taylor web site very well made and full of tips/suggestions.

Overall Rating : 9
I love this guitar. Now that the action is fine, I am very happy.
The sound is rich, brilliant and delicate. I am using Martin
SP phosphore bronwe custom light strings on it. I will experiment
with other brands.

It's a 2000 model made in california USA.I bought it AT Paris France, california music shop.
Solid-top in sitka spruce and back, sides and neck in mahogany.
The finish is very simple and beautiful
No pickup no cutaway and glover tuners.
included a case and explanations on humidity, how to set the neck and a 2 years garanty.

Sound : 10
I play mostly with a pick, solo, flat picking, everything I can : the neck is very playlable. The sound is full and clear in the same time with good sustain and very warm. And tons of harmonics ! I love the sound of this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action at first was a bit low but I sent it back to CAMAC the distributor for europe and they set it up very well with d'addario strings EXP that sounds so good that i can't believe it. Now my guitar sounds better than when I bought it.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This a very solid guitar. do not need a backup. the guitar always keep in tune. The finish is good but you must stock the guitar where it is not too dry or humid. I had a problem with humidity : the black line that covers intersection between the top and the sides is loosen on some places but it's hard to see it and CAMAC told me that there is nothing wrong with the wood and that the best is let it like this.

Customer Support : 10
EXCELLENT !! I bought the guitar in paris and i live far from this city. I contacted CAMAC and they indicated me nearest music shop where i can let my guitar to setup or anything. They really take care of you and make their best to solve your problem as fast as they can.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 7 years electric and acoustic guitars. I owned a godin electric, morris electric , ibanez acoustic, cort electroacoustic and I played with a lot of Larrivee, Martin, Yamaha and other guitars before I bought my lovely Taylor.I sold all the other guitars to have just one real good guitar.

If it were stolen I should cry and go buy immediatly the same.

The date on this one is March 17, 2000. It has the new neck/body joint design (get the free video from Taylor and see for yourself, very impressive). It's all solid wood: top is sitka spruce, back & sides Sapele Mahoany. The neck is mahogany. It has 20 frets, and is 1 3/4" at the nut (good for fingerstyle). The overall construction of this guitar if flawless and amazing for the price. I would rate this a "10" but "tons of features" does not say it. It's a no frills guitar with "tons of character." So consider my 9 a 10.

Sound : 10
The kindsof sounds that a guitar generates, I feel, is entirely up to the person playing it (my opinion). The Taylor 314, I feel, can do anything your able to coax out of it. However, to generate and amplify those tones, sounds, etc., I've added a Fishman Rare Earth pickup and use a DOD Acoustec stomp box, and I run it directly through the PA. Sounds massive. Don't misunderstand, the guitar sounds excellent with only a mic. I have the best of both worlds. To quote my youngest son (he's 18) "This thing plays itself."

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar came to me almost as I like them to be set up. I had to adjust the truss rod slightly--the action was a bit too low. Like anything new, it takes some getting use to. No real problems here.

Reliability/Durability : 10
You can never have too many guitars. If this one was stolen, kidnapped, or abused by some heartless extraterrestrial, I'd get another without hesitation.

Customer Support : 10
I've had no reason to call them. But I hear good things about their customer relations. And if you e-mail them with questions they will respond. That I have done.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been playing for approximately 25 years and have had many guitars over that period of time. I play fingerstyle, slide, lap steel, and bass (fretless). The Taylor 314 can hold its own in any situation.

My only compliant is that the guitar did not come with a case, I had to pay extra for that. Well, ya can't have everything. Peace.
