The Taylor 414-MA is the more traditional sister to the 414-MACE and made with the same solid 3 piece maple back with the same 2000 Fall LTD custom inlay, Maple Sides, spruce top, but the 414-MA did not have a cutaway or electronics. It is one of the lesser known models Taylor made in 2000 with only 160 of them being produced. They listed for slightly over $1,700.00 new and came with a harshell case. The 414-MA is an exceptional guitar in all respects. As for features it is exactly what an acoustic guitar should be, simple and beautiful.

Full deep lows, sparkling highs and a tight mid-range. It sounds amazing, and has a slightly fuller sound than the 414-MACE.

It's a Taylor, and they are practically perfect.

It's an acoustic guitar... and it'll break if you're not careful, for a factory case it's built like a tank and has taken serious abuse and the guitar still looks and sounds perfect. It'll take a beating pretty well, but I wouldn't want to back over it with a truck.

I've been playing guitar, writing and recording music for 15 years. I play cello, bass, trombone and anything else I can get my hands on. I've been around music my entire life, playing in orchestra's bands performing in bars coffee shops and on stage. This guitar is simply the best sounding guitar I could find. The 414-MA is a fantastic guitar, but it is seriously hard to find one.
