This is NOT a copy of a Gibson Firebird. It is a totally ORIGINAL thin hollowbody electric with a Wierd and Wonderful shape all it's own! Features: Two Teisco/Kawai era typical pickups, one volume, one tone, 3 way switch, vibrato, bolt on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, mutant tulip shaped headstock with 3 on a side tuners and strange/crazy f holes!
Pretty standard stuff except for the shape an style of this beast. For that it gets a 10! Two EXAGERATED horns are the main styling plus, with an offset waist, thin depth and thin internal brace from neck to heel. This thing looks like it's trying to eat itself. Is this the model for Stephen King's "Langolier" story? I don't know, but it's Ugly/Beautiful and doesn't look like any Fender/Gibson you'll ever see!

Just OK here. I'm not a big fan of the Kawai era pickups, but they do what they do. If you like them I'd recommend at least wax potting them so they don't howl/squeal/feedback/clunk and clank. They are microphonic as can be!
Drop in some humbuckers or some Filtertrons and you have an undeniable tone monster! Worth the upgrade if you love Bizarre Guitars!

Not the best, not the least. Pretty typical Teiso/Kawai quality. They hold up and can be made VERY playable, but the original hardware is moderate to cheap most of the time.
Still, it's a great style guitar to fix up!

They are pretty rugged if treated well. If you're a basher, you probably will knock it dead before to long. For the rest of us they will last for decades!

Based simply on the Wackiness Factor this baby gets a 10! On all other counts its a 7. Can be made a great player, but the hardware/pickups it comes with need upgrading. Still, for the price you can fix these up and still be ahead!
