60's japanese hollowbody (thin) electric. 2 single coil pickups. 2 volume, one tone control. and a 3 way selector (bass, solo and rhythm). i think it's a plywood construction, 335 type shape, 2 cutaways, except its much wider, almost round, in the "hips". has the usual teiesco tremlo tailpiece, 4/2 rosewood neck. overall very solid construction, not what i would consider a fragile guitar. this model is one of the higher end ones.

without amp - this area is where this guitar transends into greatness. i love the way it sounds, just the right amount of volume to sing with, and it rings with alot of overtones. it's a little hard to describe, but if you are the type of player that practices without an amp, and sings, you will like it. when set up properly, plays like butta. this guitar is built for tone (albeit probably unintentionally)
with amp - interesting sounds, and fun to play, but not a "primary axe"

what i did to make it perfect was, move the bridge forward about a quarter inch, which enabled it to have good intonation. i also turned both pickups around (they have staggered poles), because to me, it sounded to bassy the original way. make sure everthing is tight (no rattles) and string it with 10's. i find the neck is really nice and comfortable.

solid guitar, but i wouldn't use it as my only one at a gig. like i said, this guitar comes into it's greatness as a in-house, unamplified couch companion.
