manufactured 1960 in japan. 20 fret, 16 to body. rosewood f board. thick v shaped neck (not reinforced/no truss rod) set (not bolted) on body. body - jazzmaster style, lightweight/low grade wood (solid), original sunburst with handle cut out (original). massive headstock likewise with cut out portion. 3 p'ups - unique bridge, missing its cover. mirrored metal pick guard. chicken's foot p'up selector

1 of a kind p'ups. best matched to valve driven amp. can produce warm blues tones but also surf sounds - responds better to being picked rather than heavily strummed when it's a tad messy. unique
Action, Fit, & Finish

some neck bowing has heightened the action - 46 years of tension, no rod, crap wood. otherwise this guitar is hanging in there

great oddity with amazing pick ups. shame about the neck. seems to be rare - lots of pics on the net but nil of this particular model. wish i had the bridge cover
