This is a Jazz and Surf Guitar. I play Surf Music and Ambient Techno Jazz Electronica.
I am using a Crate BX-100 Bass Amplifier with EQ and an ART SGX 2000
digital effects Unit.
This guitar is quiet. Especially after the WD-40 spray-down. trade secret.
Rich/Full sound and Bright sound can be achieved.
Easy shred runs. Very excellent neck for Trills and Arpeggios. Bright
sounding altered open position chordings. A rhythm machine on blues and surf. Chicken picking wins the contest.
The tone knob cuts out the volume on low eq. Other than that, I married this guitar 3 times, see above mention about Diamonds. :)

This guitar was saved from someone's attic, and, the fretboard was the
only thing that appears to have aged with time. Dry Neck. Wiped it down with Luthier's Tonic. Life came right back into it. The body will have to be re-finished.
Another trade secret. Acrylic strips mounted on the top of Neck back
and base of Body neck connection to raise the fretboard. This means
the bridge, a vintage-relic, two-piece pole and base on wheels, must
be set high. It can be lowered by setting the Tremolo spring tight.
This works well with minimal buzz. The Low E string appears off to the
left, but not completely out of range of the neck at the body.
The pickups are adjusted well. Cracks around the molded-plastic covers the only sign of age.
The Strings sit fine at the top. Teisco's Headstock's make more sense
than Fender's any day.
Flaws as mentioned above.

This guitar will withstand live playing.
The Hardware seems like it will last.
The finish needs to be redone.
The Strap buttons are solid.
I can depend on it.
Who in their right mind would use just one guitar on a gig without a backup?

20 years. I own other Vintage Guitars. I own many effect units and electronic MIDI triggering devices/guitars/drums.
No.
I would buy something else.
I love it's tonal range and note sustain length.
My favourite feature is the bright pickup setting.
I compared this guitar to a Teisco Spectrum circa Sears Silvertone and
found my Spectrum does it all. I chose this TG-64 for it's size and unique appearance.
I wish it had the original tremolo bar.
I have high-quality pictures of this guitar for your website.
