This telestar is from between '65 and '70. Has 20 frets, so its a slightly shorter scale. Solidbody design with large chrome faceplate, two pickups and 3 toggle switches to use both pickups or single out each pickup at a time. Pickups appear to be single coils with a chrome humbucker styling. Neck and body appear to be both mahogany, with the body having a black to sunburst finish. Neck has steel rod bracing. Adjustable chrome bridge and dual spring tremolo setup (not like a fender, more like a concealed bigsby). Tuners are six-in-a-line open back. Tuners hold a tune most of the time. Very lite guitar and built real solid.

Very natural sound from the pickups, not much bottom end, but very clear treble. Great for surf
Action, Fit, & Finish

Like I said tuners are all right most of the time, but not perfect. Action is average, not amazing but pretty good. Neck is a kinda bulky, not quite the baseball bat size of most japanese guitars but thicker than most C-shaped necks. Steel rod in neck has held up pretty well, very little bowing inthe neck.

Electronics have worked fine with no scratchiness or interference. Other than the tuners, I guess I can't complain.

Rugged solidbody, very light with bright tone, if I lost it I'd try to find another.
