Paid indirectly $100 Australian for this secondhand Japanese made guitar, I actually swapped a Vantage acoustic (which I paid $100) for it.
It is a laminated top, back and sides copy of a Gibson ES330 with a laminated bolt on neck and is made in the early 1970s. It has a 3 way toggle switch for the 2 non original Hofner pickups. 2 volume and 2 tone control knobs. The finish is wine red Gibson copy that caries an old style Bixby tailpiece with a whammy bar. The tuners are original and are exposed and cheap looking and the guitar carries a 25 and a quarter inch scale. no accessories.
Sound
:

The sound is not too bad but could use some working on as the bridge pickup stopped working and has been replaced with temporary cheap twin coil humbucker. At the Present it is getting plugged into an old 1970s vintage 12 channel powered Yamaha mixer < which sounds fine.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action fitted me pefectly and is very, very nice. (the guitars best feature) it is set low and is easy to play. The pickups are balanced alright and there is no flaws in the construction. the guitar is without issues.
Reliability/Durability
:

This guitar has been going strong sinse the early 1970s and still carries the original tuners, so the test of time should speak for itself in the reliability and durability department. The end strap pin button is solid now that it carries a 2" woodscrew. This guitar can be depended on, but like any guitar it wouldn't be a real bright idea to have no back at a live gig.

Playing 33 years and had this guitar for about 8, I really love the action and ease of playing with this early copy and I deffinately would not like to see it stolen or lost and if there was any thing I wished it had I would have to say the best pickups that money can buy.
