Features : 10
I bought it new in 1979. It is a Japan-made 12-string Jumbo, solid top, but I don't know which wood. The 20 standard width frets are set in an ebony fingerboard, which has interesting inlay work : appx below the 1st and 12th string, two white stripes run down the whole length. Furthermore, the markings are quite big, a MOP square with an triangular abalone inlay.
The head is black laquer, with perfect inlay work, both the name and a decoration in MOP. The tuners are sealed, very smooth (after 26 yrs, still no wear). I believe they are Grovers.
The bridge is nicely shaped, rosewood I believe, the soundhole deco is quite simple.
I had a PU installed then, no controls, and I don't know what it is. It still sounds OK, but I plan to replace it. The jack doubles as a strap button, I don't like extra holes in a guitar.

Sound : 9
I play pop and rock on it, as well as some blues (slightly off-tune, nice)
I will not discuss the amplified sound, as I hardly use it, and it is not relevant for the actual sound of the guitar.
The sound is full, well balanced, loud and bright. It seems to sound rounder (not dull !!!!) now than when I bought it. Possibly the wood has matured, or I might be losing some of the highs in my ears. After all, I'm 43....
I have played Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West) on it, it sounds great.
Maybe I would have preferred more presence of the lowest notes, but I play with quite light strings, 0.10 on high E. I have tried heavier, which sounded muche deeper, but it was to tiresome to play.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
As I recall, it was properly set up. All the work is very well done, the 3rd fret was poorly set and would catch the 1st string, but this was corrected by my shop, Hill's Music in Brussels.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have played this guitar for 26 years, including a number of gigs.
No repairs at all were needed, and it doesn't look like this is going to change over the next 26 years.
Backup ? Who needs a backup with a guitar built like this ??

Customer Support : No Opinion
To my knowledge, they went out of business some years ago.
Whatever, if you have a problem with an accoustic guitar, a good shop is all you need.
In those days, you didn't care for a warranty, you knew you had bought a good instrument from a reputable shop. That's all.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 30 years, the better part of my life.
If it were stolen or lost, I'd look for a similar guitar, I have no hope to find a second one.
The sound is great, if you know where to put your fingers or plectrum between the bridge and the fingerboard, there is little you cannot do.
