Where can I start? I have had this Terada FW-910 since 1974. The serial number #731003 indicates it was made on October 3,1973 in Japan. I paid $99.95+tax in Oct "74" @ a Musicland store in DFW Texas. It's an acoustic with 20 frets. It plays great and people I have let play it, have offered $300 and up for it. All were turned down!
The top is solid spruce. The body is made of mahogany all around, with book matched mahogany divided by a rosewood strip in the middle. Tuners are oval and chromed.

Sound : 8
This Terada acoustic has a full hearted bassie sound when needed, and a good treble sound when played in the higher registers. I would rate it at an 8 on the sclae of 10 for sound. It's only limitation has to be my ability!

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
The action was never set before I bought it. It didn't need much change to fret better. The is a buzz nosie when played at the 12 fret area, and still remains to this day The gloss polyurethane was in better condition at first, but after years of playing it has shown my useage.

Reliability/Durability : 9
It has shown good durability thru the years although I have been able to wear an indentation on the first fret area from playing it so much. The clear gloss finish has shown wear too. When you like to play something it will show wear.I have depended on this guitar for more than 30 years now. It has been passed on to my adventurous son. He likes to brag about it's age a durability as well.

Customer Support : 8
I haven't had to call customer support about this acoustic guitar at all. I thought it was an off brand, but to my amazement I found out they have been making Epiphone acoustics for awhile. Samick makes some of them as well.

Overall Rating : 9
I have owned it for 30+years, and is now owned by my teenage son. I also have a Yamaha acoustic now that it has new ownership. I have a red stained 1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe that I bought brand new in that year. The only other electric I own is a turquoise Charvel STX Deluxe with a pearloid pickguard I bought back in "93".
If This acoustic were stolen I would hunt down another one if it were possible. I have definitely enjoy playing for both it's sound and action.....Jim
