This is a Grand Concert (000) size guitar purchased back in 1973. It has a spruce top, rosewood sides and two piece rosewood back. There is a parquet inlay between the two back pieces. This was modeled after Martin's 000-28 and sounds every bit as good. The mahogany neck is straight as an arrow even after 28 years. The bridge has height adjustment screws on either side adn acme complete with a hard shell plush lined case.

Sound : 10
This guitar is a very warm sounding guitar and perfect for finger picking. As it is smaller than a dreadnaught size, it is much more suited to smaller intimate venues. When I first bought it, it sounded a little bright, but as it has aged the sound is much sweeter.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
As I remember (it's been over 25 years) it was pretty good out of the box but I did need to adjust the string action a little. Over the years all I've had to do is minor adjustments to the trus rod in the neck and nothing else. The fit and finish are as good as any Martin or Guild, not a flaw anywhere.

Reliability/Durability : 10
28 years and still going strong!

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for over 35 years and have owned a wide variety of instruments in the past such as a Martin D-28, Gibson ES-330, 66 Fender Jazz Bass, and 59 Fender Stratocaster. I was young and foolish and never held on to any of these now classsics. If I could go back in time... I currently own a customized Fender MIM Telecaster, Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb RI, and Fender American Hot Rodded Precision Bass.
