bought new from musicyo.com, trans-red finish over maple body, active j-pickups, 34" scale, black hardware and come with a nice gig bag.thin maple neck, rosewood board, this bass was a blemish model but i and several friends have yet to locate the blemish. the only thing that concerned me was the lack of a quick change battery door. you have to remove the whole back panel to change the battery.

came set up great, the intonation was set perfectly, the string height was a little low for my taste but thats just my personal preference. the finish is awesome, the neck joint is tight, the bold grain is well seen through the transparent finish.

this is a high end boutique instument now being made in korea by gibson at a much lower price but the quality is still here. ive had many many guitars over the last 36 years and this bass is certainly one of the best ive had.

Korean made Tobias bass. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard, 24 fretts, solid ash body. Body is painted black with no finish flaws. Typical Tobias body shape. 2 Tobias J-bass pickups running into an active tone circuit. Electronics are volume, pickup balance, bass, and treble controls. It has a 34" scale with an extremely thin neck. It has schaller mini bass tuners and a standard bass bridge.

The bass sounds awesome. You can get sounds ranging from j-bass to gibson bass. The active electronics are very quiet. The pickups are well ballanced between all the strings. Right now I'm running it through a 100 watt Lab series bass head and custom built 2 12 cabinet.

I got this bass in trade. I don't know how it was set up at the factory. A few of the fret ends were comming up, but a little super glue and pressure took care of them. The action on the bass is great. Nice and low.

I believe this guitar could withstand almost anything. I've bumped it and the finish isn't even scratched. The hardware seems like it's good quality.

If this guitar were stolen, I would try to find another. It took a little while to get used to the ultra thin neck, but now I can fly up and down the neck, and my hand feels more relaxed. I've owned many bass guitars in my 19 years of playing, and this is one of my long time keepers.
