this is a "Super Edition" strat style guitar made about 1985/86 in JAPAN. Alder body.maple neck,FAT rosewood slab fingerboard(5/16ths).two very quiet humbuckers and a 3 way switch volume and tone.black multilayer pickguard and Chrome pickup rings....Very Classy!!!the body and neck are black ,vintage bridge with the bent saddles with Tokai stamped on each one and a thick trem block.sealed vintage tuners that resemble the Fender sealed tuners ...mid 70's. the neck is a comfortable u shape and the fingerboard is close to dead flat.

it had been sitting for who knows how long and had what appeared to be acoutic strings on it. I took it ALL apart (cept for the electronics) and cleaned and reassembled it , and did the setup with 10-46's. the fit of this guitar is eqal to or better than anything by Fender for the last 15 yrs. or ss. This could have been the Grandaddy of the Big Apple STRAT!

I own a JV sig strat and a SCHECTER C7plus.,ax2 and POD as well as several stratoid guitars i built myself. This guitar was a great find and rips anything out there today for much more $$$$$ I have just purchased another but with the locking trem and will be on the hunt for more.
