I play several styles: worship, blues, & rock. From smooth to harsh sounds this wonderful guitar plays them all so well! I'm not a huge fan of single coil pickups but these rock my socks off anyway!

The only problem that I notice with the sound is there is a hum when switched to either single pickup but not when both are in use and the switch is centered. This is only noticeable when not playing. There might be a quick fix that I'm unaware of.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I had never heard of Tradition before I laid eyes on this guitar. I was skeptical at first because it was not a "big name" brand and I had my heart set on getting a Les Paul, but the Tradition looked so nice I decided to see how it played. I was in love from the moment I started playing! Great action with fast neck that's not too fat or thin. Really unique Tradition 'T' inlays make this baby look sweet. This is one of those guitars that you pick up and you can't walk away from.

Reliability/Durability : 9
So far so good! No issues what so ever & very dependable. The hardware is another big reason I like this guitar so much. The Grover tuners stay in tune better than any guitar I've owned! The finish on the hardware is a really nice frosted silver that looks great against the metallic gold body paint.

I've had it a year now and have never had to deal with them yet, so that's more credit to the reliability of these guitars.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 9 years now. I play an Takamine acoustic/electric, an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. electric, a Peavey Classic 30 tube amp, a BOSS ME-50 multi effects pedal, and a BOSS TU-2 tuner.

If this was lost/stolen I would cry a lot then go buy a new one (I'd might upgrade to the MTP 350 for the humbucker pickups).

I just love how this thing plays so easily and smoothly! Best feature: VALUE; a great price for amazing quality in a guitar.

This guitar was made in Indonesia, 2007. It has 22 frets and a stop tailpiece, all hardware is chrome. It is a solid mahogany, neck thru piece with a ivory colored space age binding on the top of the body.
It is a PRS style body with a walnut stain on the whole thing and includes a rosewood fret board. The piece has Tadition P90 ivory colored passive pickups, controls are 1 vol i tone and a 3 way selector. It has Gotoh tuners, a nice medium thin neck. It did not come with a case or bag.

This piece is basically a back up unit that I play a couple times a week and maybe gig with once a month. I have been playing for 45 years and usually play blues/rock type stuff. I am using a Carvin Bel Air 212 with a Digitech RP350,& Boss compressor. The guitar is fairly quiet except for a very scratchy pickup selector. The P90s have a bright sound that cuts through very well. It can get a little muddy on the neck pickup and never gets real thin or bright even with the bridge pickup on.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
The guitar was not set up at all it came straight out of the box. When I first got it I decided I'd play it for a month or two , it sounded great. I think alot had to do with the satin walnut stain, it sounded very natural and very alive. The P90s seemed adjusted pretty well. The over all body seemed pretty nice altough the binding is a little rough where it joins the body, you can feel a step. It played pretty well for a month and then started buzzin' out on my fist fret badly. I took it to my tech and he had to level the frets as they were all over the place and he had to replace the first fret , he says it seemed like it had just sunk down into the neck.maybe not not cured long enough or whatever, it was not good. In addition, the fret ends were VERY sharp, he ended up taking off the sharp edges as well as buffing things out completely, I also had him round off the sharp edges on the 2E's bridge piece, very sharp. There was also one loose tuner on the guitar, It plays okay now.

Reliability/Durability : 6
Now that I've a boat load of work on this thing I think its looking pretty good, what else coud go wrong. I will probably replace the 3 way shortly, its still scratchy. The hardware seems solid and seems like it will hold up well. The finnish is a light walnut stain and seems to be wearing a little already, but I'm not too worried about it, looks do'nt matter all that much. I put Dunlop starp locks on the day I got it. Can I depend on it? yeah I think so but it took some work. I'd gig without a backup.

I have actually met these guys and they seem to be honest and believe in what selling. I played one at the Austin Namm Show this year that was set perfectly and it sold me.I have contacted them by email and got a response within 12 hours, when I was trying to locate a case for it, they don't stock cases. I believe the warranty is lifetime.

Like I said before I'm 56 years old and have been playing since I was 12. My main guitar(I LOVE IT) is a Fender Heartfield RR59 that Ive had about 10 years now, what a guitar!! I also own a Charvel Tele, Dean 12 string electic, Ibanez Aoustic electric, various Fender and Carvin amps. I got a good deal on this guitar because I'm also in the business, and maybe thats why they did'nt do a thing as far as set up, maybe they figured we had techs and so worth, witch we do, but I'd be dissapointed if I was a retail user and got this guitar in the same shape I did. If it were stolen or lost I would not replace it, I'd probably have exactly what I want made. I do think the piece is very nice looking, that satin stain just makes it sound so freakin' woody. Hey its a $500 guitar, what do you expect. After talking to many Tradition dealers, they tell me the ones made in Korea are great but the Indonesia is no where near as nice.
