I'm not sure when the guitar was built, but I understand that they are built in Tennesee. 24 frets, Gorgeous Blue to Black sunburst, quilt-top, It's got 2 volume controls and one tone output, as well as a 3-way selector. It's a sweet looking guitar, I really like the headstock, nicer than any les paul headstock I've ever seen. Tune-o-matic, can't complain about this guitar at all. Definitely worth the dough.

It's a great sounding instrument. I get very little noise (that isn't wanted ;) ) and false harmonics are a snap on it, especially when using the right effects on my Zoom GFX-707, it's hot!

I'm not sure about factory set-up, because I bought mine used, but it came in perfect working order. I'm still playing with the controls to optimize, but that's just personal preference.

The strap buttons are solid, but I'm a strong believer in strap locks when on the stage, it's just the best insurance when you're dancing around and the possibility of something embarassing is high. I would probably gig with it without a backup, but I don't. Call me paranoid.

I've had it for about 3 months, and it's my #1. I got lucky though, the price was incredible, and I struck gold. If I had to replace this one I don't know if I would get another one, while it's reliable, I'm the kind of guy who likes to play lots of different guitars. Chances are I'd go with something new to have some more fun adapting to something new.

not really 100% on the when's and wheres it was made so no comment there.
lol unfortunately mine is a gold sparkle finish that goes all the way up the neck and the headstock. to me it is very gaudy but i need an electric at a cheap price so.
2 Humbuckers and 2 volumes and a tone.

Well i have to straight foward on this part. At low volumes (practicing or recording direct) it sounded great. maybe a little on the dull side but good. very clean as well. no distorting and no pickup noise.
It definitely keeps with the les paul sound.
Unfortunately the factory pickup were extremely feedback heavy and not in the good way. To fix this i replace the neck pick up (only one i really use) with an Air Norton and it sounds great.

Action was nice and low with no buzzing. that probably sold me the most. Very nice to play.
the finish, as ugly as i think it is is very nicely done. smooth with no inconsistancies.
there was some minor gapping around the inlays on the fretboard but aside from that those were the only factory mistakes i saw.
I bought this guitar used and it had a couple chips out of it but nothing i would blame Tradition for.

This this is a beast. lol
it has taken some pretty nasty falls and aside from a bend tuner and a chip in the finish it has held up wonderfully
again the finish is very solid with no signs of wearing. hard to chip as well

I record direct and run through a few different amps that i am too lazy to mention lol.
I would definitely find another one (different color) if this one was stolen but it may be too ugly for that lol.
I bought this cause i prefer the les paul sound but i can't pay the les paul price. with the exception of an endorsement from Paul Reed Smith i will be sticking to these.
Very well worth the price i promise. Just make sure you are ready to throw in new pickups but at the price you can find these for it is still a wonderful value

2000 Model Tradition Michael Batio No Boundaries Series Les Paul. Alder body, maple bolt-on neck, 2 humbuckers, Tune-O-Matic bridge, 2 volume, one tone control. Guitar was finished in a pretty red metallic color called Metallic Autumn Red that goes from a bright bright red in a little light to a beautiful deep red in real sunlight. Neck and headstock were painted in this too. Cream body and fingerboard binding and pickguard. Overall, a nice guitar. I got this in a sale from a store trying to get rid of some inventory, where if you bought a tagged guitar, you got another tagged guitar for free. My friend got a guitar, and I got his free one.

The sound is what I LOVE about this guitar! It is way more versatile than my Strat. Anthing you play, this baby can do! I play a lot of stuff (Hendrix and Pink Floyd to Bush, Incubus and U2) and it nails everything. I play it through an Vox Wah-Wah, Electro Harmonix Big Muff, MXR phaser, and a Digitech RP300 into a Hughes and Kettner Vortex. The pickups are a little quiet, but they are hot. When plugged into a combo amp on the same settings as a Peavey Wolfgang, the Peavey was a bit louder but mine sounded as good. The neck PU isn't my personal favorite for cleans, but I have a Strat for that. Bridge PU has all the snarl and grind you need. All in all, very versatile.

Pretty good quality for being made in China. This thing is built like a tank, and about as heavy as one! Action at the store was a bit high for most players tastes, including mine, but I left it there as it is still easily playable and I can do slide work without switching guitars. There was some wiring problems, and I had the pots resoldered and tightened. Works great now. The paint was a little bubbled aroud the control cover plate, and it cracked. Fingerboard inlays were a little crooked on the 5th and 7th frets. Other than that, it is solidly built.

I haven't gigged with this too much, but I see no reason not to. It is very solid, and I have yet to break any strings. I have had this guitar for about 8 months, and it's only gotten one dent in it, which is saying something because I am very accident prone. Strap buttons are solid, finish had the problems mentioned earlier but is jsut perfect: not too thick, not too thin. I would gig this guitar without a backup.

Dealt with the company once, and their e-mail was a bit slow (4 days) I thought, since I have gotten quick e-mails from other companies within a few hours.

This is a fairly new guitar. I'm not sure when it was made. My guess would be late 90's. It has 24 frets with mother of pearl inlays all the way down the neck. It has three knobs with a 3-way selector switch. It features 2 high output chrome humbucks. It has a les paul body style with a gorgeous quilted top. No accessories included.

This guitar sounds sweet!!! I play all sorts of music and this axe will do any of them. You say you want a blues sounding guitar, then this is the one. It has a very full rich sound with little to no hum. I compared this guitar to the sound of a Gibson Les Paul and there was hardly any difference!!

I had to adjust the action myself, but once it was finalized it screamed! Very low action... I bought this guitar used and it was in flawless condition.

I have been playing for 10 yrs. I have several other guitars and this is one of my favorites. If I have lost this guitar for some reason, I would definately purchase the same one of its kind. The biggest positive aspect of this guitar is the price. You actually get more than what you pay for. If interested in this guitar, check out ebay. I don't know if people are sceptical of this guitar because its an off-brand name, but if they got a chance to play it i'm sure there would be a big market for these guitars. I was sceptical myself, but I thought hell, for 175.00 i'll give it a try. This is one of the best investments that I have ever made!!!!!!! Good luck shopping.
