Sound : 10
THis guitar can play any music style...this was the thing that impressed me the most about this guitar is the amazing sound quality it had for such a cheap guitar. I was so impressed with the sound of it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
the wammy bar broke off inside the slot so that is one downer and the slot to put the cable is loose so every once and a while i have to tighten it up. so i think it could have been made much better.

Reliability/Durability : 6
the finish is also getting chips in it. i dont know how cause i am safe with it. this bothers me. so i dont think this guitar will last you your whole life without having problems. im most likely will give you plenty. the strap buttons are not solid the always losen up

Customer Support : No Opinion
never delt with them

Overall Rating : 8
the only good thing about this guitar really is the sound quality. its a good beginner guitar that has great sound and is cheap. however my advice is to just buy a fricken awsome guitar right away. dont mess with beginner guitars. guitars dont much value so you can always sell it. this guitar is made for sound and sound only. if they would put forth the effort to make it more durible it would be great

Alder strat body, Yes an inexpensive guitar that actually utilizes good wood!3 alnico magnet single coils, 22 fret, brazilian rosewood neck, dunlop fret wire, seled "Gotoh" stlye tuners.
This axe has your typical strat layout as far as controls go- 1 vol. and 2 tone knobs(that actually work)
THe neck is a nice chunky piece of maple in your hands.
My particualr guitar is a vintage Daphne Blue color that Trasdition calls "robin's egg blue".

Sound : 10
THis is what blows me awy the most about this guitar. I actully bought this guitar for the body only as I had a birdseye maple strat neck dyeing to be mounted to a strat body. I also intneded on upgrading the pickups for a versatile combo to cover metal. blues and everything in between. However, once i plugged this little beat in, Pickup swapping was no longer an option! These pickups flat-out ROCK! slip the 5-way in the bridge, Dime out your Marshall knobs, scoopthe mid, and BAM! You can, and will, peel paint off the walls! I find this a VERY IMPRESSIVE feat for a single coil. Even better is the neck and middle pups for clean. If that isn't the closest damn sound to Hendrix's "Little Wing" then I don't know what is. FOlks, let me just say that I deal guitars and have owned/sold over 400 guitars so I know what good sound is and this IS it! These pickups are OUTSTANDING and i don't even like single coils! I'm actually an 80's shred type of guy! If their is a downside these 'pups it would be the 60 cycle hum in three out of the five positions.Butus single coils don't have the hum? I played this guitar through everything from a Crate Blue VooDoo full stack to Fender twin. EVERYONE who hears this guitar wants to buy or trade for this guitasr-GET YOUR OWN!

The finish may be a downer on my particular model for some but it was the main selling feature for me. You see, I bought mine as it was hanging on wall with no strings as the store was sending it back to the factory due to some paint checking. WHen you hold it in certain light, you can see the grain of the wood and some checking. I thought it was a dream come true as it looked like it aged 40 years already but with a mint paint job! Thank you Tradition for relicing my guitar WITHOUT the knicks and dings! I added my birdseye neck as i am a huge fan of birdseye and true strat-headstocks but this was not necessary. Their necks are killer and VERY well built. you will NOT find any rough or loose frets and that is REAL brazilian rosewood on those fretboards, not cheap korean rosewood like these other low $$$ strat wannabe's.I also had one stripped saddel intonation screw but .50 later the problem is resolved.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I only had the guitar for two weeks now and I'm an old fart who gave up the live thing when Ratt ruled the airwaves. In my opinion, I could only predict that this thing will last through just about all the abuse you could throw at it.You'd have to be brain dead to gig without a backup though..

Customer Support : 10
Lifetime warranty.. The folks at Tradition atre real friendly and EXTREMLY knowlegable guitar people. GIve em a call BEFORE you buy one and i'm sure you will be convinced to buy one.

I've been playing for 15 years. I own/collect old San Dimas Charvels, American made Kramers, alot of hand built guitars by me, and i've owned almost every guitar imaginable under the sun.
I wish i had asked if they had any more!
I plan on buying a dozen of these to do the birdseye maple neck mod on then selling them to friends and family who have begged me for mine.
I LOVE the pickups, the vintage color, the fact that Tradition actually uses alder for the body, the neck profile was real nice and the fret work was great for a low dollar strat as well. I say "low dollar" which only defines the price paid for this wonderful instrument. This guitar sounds BETTER than ANY factory strat at ANY price range, BAR NONE! I've plad em all and these pickups ARE really THAT impressive. Don't take my word for it though. GO test drive one and I gurantee you will be the next one doing a review on your new Tradition strat.
One last thing I'd like to add. I heard many names dropped as to whom Tradition guitars is owned/run by. Names that came up were, ex Seymour Duncan employees(I even heard Seynmour himself has a lil something to do with the 'pups) an EMG guy, 5 or 6 ex- Ibanez custom shop guys and a few others just to name a few. Whoever it is, knows what the hell they are doing.

This is a 22 fret strat copy. Has a volume, 2 tone, and a 5 way selector. The pickups are Single Single Single. Darker red glossy finish. It came with a gig bag, amp, cable, strap, strings, picks, etc. This has all the features of a basic strat.

Sound : 10
This can be played for all types of music. I just but in a set of Super Slinky strings by Ernie Ball and it sounds great. I run it through my Zoom 1010 pedal and this has a great sound with distortion. I was offered a $650 Fender for my guitar because of its sound with distortion. It can handle many different effects with ease, making it pretty veritile for almost any style.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I only had two problems at first. My bridge was completely messed up and my tuning pegs needed to be tightened. THe tunung pegs were easy to fix, but it took me a while to finally get the bridge the way i wanted it.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It stayed together so far, thats all i could ask.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with

Overall Rating : 10
Great, you gotta get one. It can compare to many guitars. Great for beginner to intermediate.
