Wonderful full sound to screaming leads. Very versital range and wonderful sweet sustain.

Wide neck similar to the PRS, but thinker. While it is thicker, it is not a 2x4, rather it feels great in my hand. What I mean by thicker is that is not a flat thin neck like a PRS or a JEM777, It feels more like a Les Paul Custom.
The action is wonderful, I don't know if it is because of the aluminum neck, but it is very fast. The fretboard is nice and flat and the width of the neck is perfect, not too narrow where you fumble over the strings and not too wide were your hand cramps.
No flaws, my wife who is into decorating ala Metropolitan Homes, coniders it a piece of art.

It has been around for ~25 years and still looks wonderful!

Company closed in the late 70's. Travis Bean restarted recently, I don't know anything about the new company or the guitars, but would assume they are first class if truely from the same guy.

I have been butchering music for 27 years. I just love to play. During those 27 years I have bought and sold guitars as a fun hobby. I regret many that I have sold. I currently own 7 electric guitars (Travis Bean, Heritage Les Paul, Fender USA Hendrix Voodoo Strat, Fender Standard Strat (custom wired), Fender Jap Strat w/ Lace Sensors, '72 Fender Thinline Deluxe Tele, and a '71 Gibson S-G. I play though a Marshall JCM 800 4010 50 watt tube with a 100 watt 12" celestian and a 12" EV. I really miss my old Fender M80 amp I sold to Chris Duarte when he played hear in Denver in the early '90s! I have too many effects to bother with discussing.
I would definately buy another!
