Sound : 10
I play mostly original rock, jazz and rockabilly and this guitar suits those styles well. The P-90s are as good as the S Duncans in my Godin. Rich and clear with a good amount of bite. Slight hum if you're turned in the wrong direction, typical of P-90s. I like the blend knob vs a toggle. For some reason the middle position yields slightly less volume than either individual pickup (?). Guitar sounds great thru my Vox Valvetronics with Master (10) and Gain (6)in clean model- I turn guitar volume down and get awesome jazz tones.
I don't think it's suited for metal but who knows.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Guitar was set up beautifully when shipped-no adjustments necesary. The workmanship is superb. I think I got a great deal but even if I had paid 3X as much I would still be impressed by the attention to detail.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Is very sturdy. All the hardware and electronics are good quality. No concerns.

Customer Support : 9
The company is made up of the luthier Dave Bauer, his wife and another business partner. All correspondence regarding my purchase was handled promptly. I expect if I ever had a problem they'd handle it apropriately-they really seem to value good customer relationships and want to build a good rep. Website has some beautiful and interesting examples of other guitars

Overall Rating : 10
I love this guitar. I'd probably have gotten it with humbuckers if it wasn't already built but I'm not changing a thing since it's perfect the way it is. I own way too many guitars, all good quality instruments-this ranks with my other favorites: a custom Phiga Hybrid, a '72 SG, and a semi-hollow ASAT G&L.
