Semi-Hollow body with original design "F" Hole.
Specs:
Neck - Set Neck is made of Mahogany with a Flame Maple middle strip. Bookmatch Figured Maple Headstock Plate. "Hot Rod" 2-Way adjustable Truss Rod. Blackened Walnut Truss Rod Cover. 25" Scale Ebony Fretboard with 12" radius. 24 Polished Jumbo Frets. Corian "Crystal Storm" Nut. 12th Fret Pearl Dot Inlays. Brass dot typical side Fret Markers. This neck is boat shape medium size and features a valute proper and heal hand relief carving. The Kluson Deluxe Keystone Tuners are vintage and came from a 1968 Gibson Les Paul.
Body - This is a semi-hollow chambered body. The mono-frame construction has solid wood blocking at the neck pocket and bridge areas. The face is arch carved and features a unique "F" hole. It is made of Rock Hard Spalted Maple (this is genuine Spalted Maple and not dead punky wood which is often referred to as Spalted Maple). The back is made of Babinga and is internally hollowed out to create the mono-frame construction. The electrical access plate is also made of Babinga. The cutaway features hand relief carving.
Hardware & Electronics - Schaller Roller Tune-o-Matic Bridge and fine Tune Tailpiece. 1/4" Jack with oval plate. Chrome Strap Buttons with black felt washer. Blackened Walnut Pickguard. G.F.S. P90 Neck Pickup in a Humbucker casing with Chrome Pickup Ring. Dimarzio Bridge Pickup that is wired to a mini on/on switch for coil tapping. This Pickup has a Chrome Cover and Pickup Ring. It is 20 years old and in perfect working order. Master Volume with Ebony Knob. 3-Way Pickup Selector Switch.

This is one of the finest instruments I have ever played. The chambered body and soundholes add an acoustic resonance quality to this guitar that I've only found on other high-end guitars.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Low action. No fret buzz. No dead spots anywhere on the neck. Plays perfectly!
This guitar has a hand rubbed satin oil finish and weighs 7 lbs & 13.5 oz

I recommend checking out an Unorthodox Guitar for yourself if you want a custom built one-off guitar thats as far from cookie cutter assembly line guitars of today. The customer support from Marla and Dave is outstanding.
