Features : 10
Unicord, Stratocaster( copy ) 1975 - 1978
Blond wood grain finish, Med. thick neck, string through body bridge, gotoh tuners, reg. elecronics 3-way switch. triple humbuckers,Solid top, made in japan ,
Unicord developed this guitar as a low end to med. guitar, that was affordable to users.
This guitar sounds & plays better than some fenders I've played.
Not without recoarse though. It has been played alot & does have minimal battle scars & scratches from reg. use !. Over all this unit is in excellent shape.

Sound : 8
The unicord is very versatile, rock, country, etc.
The humbuckers give a very rich sound?full sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Guitar was well set up from factory. Nice wood grain finish, craftmanship was fairly good, although the tone controls are scratchy,

Reliability/Durability : 10
This unicord has been a very reliable unit, I don't play it as a main guitar anymore but I use it as my back up, and it's never let me down, I tune it & it stays in tune. I can rely on it for a full night of live playing.

Overall I bought this guitar because of the price, I originaly wanted a stratocaster, but could'nt afford one. This unit played very well at an economical price. Would I replace it ?. As they do not make the unicord anymore I wouldn't be able to replace it, I'd more likely buy a strat.
