Normal Les Paul equipment with built in PRE-AMP (runs off of 9V battery) The pre-amp exists because the guitar has built in effects... Wah, Fuzz, Whirlwind, Echo, and a phase in and out... due to the pre amp running off of a battery, the volume knob also works as an on/off switch for the pre amp.
Sound

It sounds great for playing just about anything... it's as bright sounding as any other Les Paul copy... it doesn't have the greatest sound in the world, but it's loud... But, good or bad (whichever you think it is) it picks up alot of feedback when you're about 2' from the amp... (I use a marshall vsr30)
Action, Fit, & Finish
:

The action is about even with Les Paul copy (and Gibson's) average... The finish is pretty good, it's an old guitart (no idea how old, but since it has analog switches for the effects, it's probably from late 70s, early 80s) and the finish still looks good, no chipping evident... One tuning peg was coming loose when I purchased it.
Reliability/Durability

The finish lasted this long, so I believe it will last pretty long. The strap buttons would be solid, but it seems somebody drilled one of their own and moved the button to it on the top of the guitar. The bottom one never comes loose, but the top I had trouble with until I bought strap locks. (The stock screws were really short, and the strap lock ones are alot longer.) It's very dependable, never gives me any trouble. I jump around alot of stage and it never gives me any funky noises unless I bang it against something... I'd never use it on a gig without a backup, only because I break string on all of my guitars very often... other than that, I would use it.

I've been playing for 4 years. If it were stolen or lost, I'd be SOL since the company no longer exists. I'd probably hunt down the thief and kill them. I compared it with Gibson Les Paul's and I liked it better, since all of the equipment seemed about even with Gibson averages... I just liked the effects that were built in, so I went with it.
