I have 2 Vaccaros one Deja Blue Astro and one Orange Sparkle Xray I love em both! Bought at Blackmarket Music in Los Angeles, I was told they were owned by Blues Saraceno, I have seen pictures of him holding the Astrolite on the web but so what! I love the guitars and thank him for letting them go! I think these guitars are some of the best guitars I have ever played and if a Veleno can rise in value so should Vaccaro! I love the sound, the neck, the look, the action, the sustain, the ease of use! yes they are USA models! I got them each for 400 bucks what a steal! I give everything a 10 PLUS Body, neck, frets, bridge, pickups, headstock, LOOKS! C'mon everyone loves Les Pauls or Strats but these guitars are truly in a Upper class by themselves! I have played for over 20 years so I should have some idea of a great Guitar when I find one oh yeah and PRS's look pretty but are overrated!!! Tony Tone of www.mp3.com/thehouseofrep

Well here is the onething I can't praise Vaccaro on! They were rude when I called them to ask about the guitars, but rude in a very cool way like New Jersey should be All American! They said "we are not in the Guitar making buissiness anymore" I said but... and the guy repeated in a Deep Mafia sounding voice "I said! "we are not in the Guitar making buissiness anymore" I said Later. But I loved the atitude! Fffffffff Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Action is very low. I have a tendancy to play for hours and my Xray never tires my fingers, the frets are smooth and sleek.

I'm not much on effects...I use a JCM 800 with a 4x12 straight cab. The guitar gives me a totaly different sound from all of my other gits! I think the aluminum neck really makes the strings sing. Plus, the Rio Grande pickups are hot. They add the bite I was looking for. No dislikes here!

I thought the guitar was in great shape when I got it. Of course some slight adjustments were made for my personal tastes. I really dig the zero fret and the ebonal fretboard. It all works to make the action low and smokin' fast.
Everyone freaks out at the silver sparkle finish.

well...I always have a backup regardless. But the Vaccaro has been my main git for the last 4 months. In that time my band has done about 25-30 shows and I have'nt had one problem.

I sent in my warranty card and received a letter from the president Henry V. Vaccaro Jr. The cool thing is that it wasn't some form letter with a copy machine signature. It was the real deal!

I bought the guitar because I wanted something different. The aluminum neck intrigued me and I was not disappointed. Today's guitar market seems to be the same old thing but with someone else's name on it.
Thank you Vaccaro Guitars!! Finally, a little diversity in such a strangled market.

I ordered a blue sparkle v2-xray,got it in February of 2000.I believe they are made Japan.22 frets with a rosewood fingerboard(dot inlays). The controls are straight up and very user friendly, volume, tone, pick up selector, coil tap.Pick ups are s/h,they have the Vaccaro logo on them. The finish is all in a class by itself, well worth the extra money. As far as the body shape, like nothing i have ever seen, very well balanced,a breeze to play. The bridge is a tune o matic style with string through body(a very nice feature i might ad).Tuners are Gotoh.Neck scale is 25 1/2.You also get a cable,a truss rod wrench.

The v2 x-ray produces some serious sustain. It fits into my style of playing with no problems.I use a line 6 spider,it really brings life to that little amp. There was no noise i could hear with the pick ups.I really like using the coil tap alot,it really rings out notes that would be lost at times. The v2 x-ray is a very versitle guitar.I'm a very picky buyer and i could not find one thing wrong with this guitar.I feel i got my monies worth and then some!!!

The set up was right on,played like a champ right out of the box.Pickups were right on,no tinkering needed. Not a flaw in sight, everything was as tight as could be.I will say that the blue sparkle finish is out of this world. You need to play one of these to get the whole picture.

Have spoke to them only once, only to say how great i thought my v2-xray was.As far as a warranty they stand behind the neck, with a lifetime warranty.

The most obvious feature is the v-neck,i was told that it has a aluminum extrusion through it(now i know were all the sustain generates from).I have been playing for sometime now,i now have a guitar that was long over due.If it got stolen i would only hope that the person loves it as much as i did.So i would say go to your local shop and check one out.Just don't let the way it looks put you off, sure it is different, but this time folks change was pure genious

features on this guitar would have to be it's strong point. Muy Grande pickups, one single coil and one humbucker. It has a three channel pickup select and a single coil/humbucker switch. The neck is a little on the fat side, but it makes up for it in other ways. 22 frets medium sized. You can easily fit your fingers into any fret. Sperzel locking tuners, volume and tone knobs. The trademark V-Neck, and the best feature, the entire neck is made from alluminum. It has wood neck around it but with the alluminum neck goin through it, sustain is incredible!!!!

My style is punk, and this guitar fits to it beautifully, Not only does it stand out with the first 3-D paint job ever, but the v-neck is pretty sweet too. But my buddies play all sorts of music from jazz and blues to heavy rock and good old rock 'n' roll. They all agree what a nice axe this is. The only effect I use is my distortion pedal. But this guitar would sound much better on something other than a crate. I play with a lot of treble so it tends to be noisy, but any where else this guitar sings! With the single coil/humbucker switch this guitar has a variety of sounds that I'm still messing with. I love this guitars looks and feel, I don't have many complaints at all.

This guitar was basically in mint condition when I got it. There are a few small things, but I probally don't know enough to tell ya.

I can tell you one thing, if this guitar can survive a punk show, then it can survive anything! My x-ray has treated me well, except for a volume knob that was loose and eventually fell off. But that was fixed free of charge at my local music store. The only reason I wouldn't use it without a backup is because I like to keep my Washburn in drop-d so I don't have to tune down on stage.

These guys are the nicest people in the business! They helped me with everything I needed. Silly questions were tolerated and tough ones answered. The only repair was the volume knob and I took it to my music store. I'm not sure about a warranty. Probally got one though.

Been playing it for a few months now, the only other gear I own is my crappy used crate amp, Ilbanez distortion, and my Washburn. If this guitar were lost or stolen I'd fall into a deep dark depression. Then Buy a new one. I love the looks, I don't hate anything! My favorite feature is how the strings load in through the back. When your playing you can feel this baby!
