Bare bones classical guitar. Graphite nut. Full scale.

Sound : 7
Surprisingly full and rich for such a low cost guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Nice low action and everything was fitted well.

Reliability/Durability : 6
Very thin finish, chips easily. Fretboard is mystery wood that is painted by the looks of it.

Been playing since 1973, own tons of gear. Picked this guitar up just to fix up and sell...nearly kept it :-) Highly reccomended starter classical guitar for the budget minded.

Some nice looking natural brown finish.
Classic design body style.
Simple, plastic aided bridge style.
Plastic, old fashioned mechanism tuners - does its job, tho.
Has 12 accessible frets, 19 overall.
Solid-Top.
Can't expect any fancy wood for this price... I am not sure the neck is even made of wood... but the neck is very soft and it does its job.

Sound : 8
I can't say that this suits my music style... but it can play everything... I once heard someone playing metal scales on this guitar which was shocking for me to see, didn't know it was possible on a classic guitar.
It has a very soft sound, I think the sound is a bit weak, nothing that can't be covered with some stronger strumming.
Overally, a very versatile sound, and that's a lot more than you'd expect from a guitar that cheap.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The guitar looks nicely set up for a classic guitar.
Very simple nut and bridge mechanism, truss rod is not adjustable which would have been nice, but it's still a classic guitar with not too much intensity, so it's still passable.
There aren't any obvious flaws in this guitar... the only flaw which is half relevant is that the wood is too weak and therefore very vulnerable... but people need to keep their guitars at safe places where they won't get hurt.
The action is a bit high... only a bit and might tick beginner players off, but it's very important to get used to some string tension as a beginner player so in this case, it's a plus.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I am using this guitar for about 5 months... and it keeps in tune for very long periods of time... and I sometimes play about 4 to 5 hours a day, honestly, I would not complain about the tuners.

As for overall reliablity... this is a classic guitar and the strings don't apply too much pressure on the structure, therefore I believe it can last for many years to come as long as you don't use it to kill somebody, that is.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Irrelevant... I don't think I'd want to fix this guitar if it was broken too - not because it's not worth it... but because it's cheaper to buy a new one.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 7 months... recently moved to acoustic (but still looking forward to play this guitar).
I don't think I'll let this guitar get lost or stolen, but if it does... well, I will probably get a better classic guitar if I can afford one.
I chose this guitar because the seller recommended it as a good classic guitar for beginners (there were other, cheaper classic guitars in the shop)... he was right.
Seriously, I don't think anyone can complain about a guitar that cheap... I heard from proffessional players who played this guitar that it has a very good sound and it also feels good so it's the best classic guitar for beginners you can possibly find.

For sure you cannot expect a treasure for this low cost, but though it is a very cheap and low -level guitar, it is technically well -made and very useful - only as your 2nd guitar !!! - (because only a good guitar with a good sound encourages you to improve) - but for use as an everyday-tool: for exercising for LH and RH (Guiliani's 120 exercises for the RH, for exercising the tremolo, the arpegios etc. etc.) Wherever you go: at the beach or any other outdoor-place etc. No need to take care of sweat etc, you take it from the corner in your room and put it back there like a broom. Use good strings (Addario EJ 46 or Hannabach silver 200 and a flat bridge made of real bone, and you will be surprised by the easy-playing and nice sound that results. This thing is good enough for everyday-use and protecting your precious "guitar No. 1"....that's all.

All I know about This guitar is what it has written on it. Valencia is a company I have never heard of, but since this guitar was so cheap and i'm just a beginner (and I don't have much cash) i bought it! It has only 19 frets (12 of which you have access to). I think it's laminated, and the finish chips easily and where the neck is conected to the body the finish is cracking. The wood it's made of is of very poor quality (it can be pushed in with a finger-nail). Normal wooden finish with a nice looking pattern round the sound hole. This is a no fuss aucustic, without cutaways. The tuners are loose, and goes out of tune quite quickly, but it's easy to tune. There was no accessories apart from the card-board box it came in!

Sound : 6
I like rock, metal, and a bit of blues so this guitar doesn't really suit me, but as I'm just beginning I might as well start with an aucustic. The nuts that bolt the bridge on sometimes come loose and make a bloody annoying buzzing sound and they have to be tightened up from time to time which involves taking the d,g,b,e strings off. The sound is quite stark really, probobaly because my fretting skills aren't too good, or the frets themselves aren't too good.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
Someone's gotta tell me what action is :-). The d string has gone badly rusty, the wood quality sucks arse, the tuning pegs are loose. But what do expect for such a cheap guitar?

Reliability/Durability : 1
i certainly wouldn't play this guitar live. It seems like this guitar is waiting to fall apart. The frets are going all black and funny looking.

Customer Support : No Opinion
There was no gaurantee, I have no address to the company, no waranty. But the shop assistance was very good.

I've been playing for just over a month, without a teacher. I wished I would have saved up the money to buy an electric. If it got stolen or lost, i'd get something different. I love the value for money, if this guitar cost anymore i probably would have bought a J&D (Jack&Dann) Though. I saw this for 150DM- and bought it straight away. I wish I had A fender Strat with a huge marshall stack. anyone has any donations, i'd be more than happy to accept.
