This guitar was made in City of Industry,Ca.It was built in 98,Some people have stated that sence samick bought them they are no longer made in USA.This is false as a matter of fact valley arts designs most of the samick guitars built,My guitar has 24 fret maple neck rosewood fretboard.(tree of life inlay)It is a 7/8strat style alder body with a gohto stop tail.gold hardware.pickup varies on what I am playing,I have several guitars.I had this guitar built for me under my specs.

I play country and some rock.this thing can be so clean that you could wash your hand in it, or be so bad you want to make it stand in the corner,the guitar with the vintage custom wound delta tone pickups is my favorate.with the split phasing I can sound straty or tele bite.or bridge the neck and middle for that lespaul sound.

My guitar came out of the box perfect but I told Ron Fatrade of valley arts how I wanted it and he set it up.Most guitars are only as good as the music store you buy them from,Most new guitars are not set up at the factory,they figure that a person that buys a high end guitar is going to set them up themselves.The music stores should help you get the set up you want most don't.My guitars had perfect fit and finish from day one

I play my guitars on stage and some studio work no problems.The gold on the hardware tarnishes pretty easly.But all gold does.I would play this guitar with out a backup and usually do

I have talked to valley arts several time and they answered my question right on the spot.very friendly.No repairs so far but I don't forsee any problems with that.

I am 44 years old and been playing sence I was 8.Pretty long time.If it were stolen after I quit crying ,I would buy another one.What I love about it is it has a feel that I just havent found in other guitars.Did I compare sure,I have had lespauls,335's,tele's strat's.some were better than others I am not like some folks and run down a guitar because I didn't under stand setup.and didn't know what I wanted.Feel free to e-mail me about music or equipment.I am no expert but I have usually been there and done that.
