this is a pretty faithful Gibson ES335 copy. Almost identical to my Epiphone Dot [the headstock shape is slightly different]. The same pickup & controls layout, even the location appears to be identical. (2) humbucker pickups with chrome covers, (2) tone pots, (2) volume pots and (1) three way switch. Again, except for the headstock shape, I can hardly tell the difference from the Epi Dot.

Sound : 9
I play mostly classic rock, 60's, 70's, some new stuff, and this guitar is suitable for any of the tunes a 335 would be, very nice clean or distorted tones. I play through a Marshal 65 watt Valvestate. I like the the tone of this guitar, though I intend to install a little heavier guage strings.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Nice setup, though I may RAISE the action a tiny bit [boy, 20 years ago, I never thought I'd ever say that!]. All in all, build quality [including setup] of this one is excellent.

Reliability/Durability : 9
The finish and hardware are of very good quality, especially considering the price. This finish might even be a bit better than the Epi Dot.

I've been playing for about thirty years, and own more than twenty guitars, including a PRS CE-22, a Gibson Joe Perry Signature Les Paul, an American standard strat, Epiphone Dot, Takamine FP340SC, a vintage Hagstrom hollow body, a late 50's replica strat I built myself!, etc. etc. etc.! I bid on this guitar just because it looked great in the picture- nice black finish! I didn't really need it to fill and particular sound need. It just looked cool, and I'm VERY glad I was high bidder!

Gibson 335 copy,dual humbuckers,maple body,tune-o-matic bridge,cream binding on body.three way pick up switch.Nice sunburst finish.

I love semihollow body guitar, but dont have the money for a Gibson.Play very dirty BLUES,and this guitar fits perfet. The bridge pickup sounds great for a cheap guitar. As far as the neck pickup,I changed it to a Dimarzo PAF to faten up the tone. The stock pickup sounded to thin.Use a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, with a tubeworks TUBEDRIVER pedal. SMOKEN TONE!!

Guitar played great, compared it to an EPIPHONE 335 in the store and the VANTAGE won.As far as Im consered,EPIPHONES SUCK!! With a little fret work done, this guitar plays like a dream.

Been playing for 12 years,Own a stat plus, heritage les paul, witch I love dearly, But for some weird reason I cant put the vantage down, been using it playing live, Just love the sound!Im sure there are better 335 copys out there, but this one is a keeper. If it was stolen,I wish I could find one that sounded as good as this one dose.

This guitar is a direct copy of the well known and famous ES335 model. I think it has a laminated top and back. The usual two humbucking pickups, two volume and two tone controls, stop tailpiece and ofcourse the "f" holes on top. That's the guitar I'm talking about. No case was included. For the price I paid, that's not a surprise.

Sound : 9
In the first place, there were two reasons why I bought this guitar. One: It's lefthanded (me too), two: it was nice looking. But when I played on it (first at home !) I was really amazed. Never thought a guitar of that price could sound so good. I've played it over a Mesa DC3, a Marshall JTM30 and a Fender HotRod and the sound was always awesome. I mostly play blues and a little jazz now and then. Perfect guitar for that kind of stuff.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
It's almost boring, but usual when I buy a guitar the setup isn't 100 %. I always have to correct the factory setup of the guitar. Not with this guitar. The action is perfect. The finish is also very good.

Reliability/Durability : 7
The reliability of this guitar seems very well to me. I think I can depend on this guitar.

I really don't know. Never dealt with them. I only have the guitar for 2 weeks.

This is my 6th guitar and it's the cheapest one, but not the less good one. Definitely not. I play for 5 years now and during that time I bought and sold guitars, amps and effects. I only use tube amps. It's no snob but I think the only guitar amps are tube amps. I'm very glad with this guitar because in fact I am a Les Paul player and that's why I will never buy an original ES335. If I can spend that amount of money I"ll buy me another Les Paul. This Korean copy of the ES335 should do well for me.
