I have no idea when this model was made and still cannot find any info on it at all.It is a 24 fret, bright (fluro) yellow strat style body with 3 pickups, (2 humbuckers with a single in the middle) and a licensed Floyd Rose tremelo. It has a 5 way selector and a splitter switch for that strat sound.
Again have no idea what pickups are used but they have the vantage writing on them so can only assume they are a house brand but and can make a great tone with the right gear.

Sound : 10
The 720 has a great sound and can be used in many styles. I used this guitar for my HSC and covered THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST by IRON MAIDEN. I used this guitar basically because the sound was light and crunchy and nice and mellow without being muddy in the neck position.

The 720 is a versatile instrument and with the right settings can play any style you wish. I have played this through zoom and boss effects units and with a little more distortion dialed in for other guitars, gets a great metal sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I bought this guitar second hand so it is hard to tell if it was left in the standard set up form, however once I had changed it to suit my style it has become one of the easiest playing guitars I own.

The first adjustment I made was the action, and I was very surprised at how low it would actually go without buzzing. Thanks to the flatness of the neck the action is now low and very fast which is great for soloing and effortless for rhythm.

I raised the pick ups a bit more however since I lowered the strings a fair bit, they did not need to be raised too much.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have owned the guitar for many years now and have only had one problem with it. The middle pick up was fading out however a new switch fixed that.
Some would say that shouldn't happen but the guitar has been in my possession many years, and has endured a lot of punishment so it does not surprise me.
As I mentioned before this guitar , once properly set up can be greatly reliable as I used it for my HSC and finished with great scores.
I chose to use the guitar because of how easy it was to play and with the Floyd Rose set up, it was only a matter of slight tuning adjustments because the guitar stays in tune so well.
I always have a back up guitar for gigs, its just common sense if you ask me, however, I am confident when I get on stage with my 720 that it is going to be a great trouble free gig.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 11 years now and this guitar, cheap or not, plays better than some guitars I have and some I have played in stores.

For what I do which is a lot of metal and soloing, you can't go wrong, it has the tone, the features, and the playability that I want and need.

i own Epiphones (5) Ibanez, ESp, jackson and more and I find this guitar in the top two of my playability list. It is so effortless that it boosts your confidence.
It is a fantastic guitar and the fact that I got it so cheap is unbelievable. I hope it never gets stolen because I will never find another one of these again.

If anyone has any info on this guitar at all could they please post it and let me know... I would love to know what pick ups it has!
