This guitar is amazing I got it second hand for 300 dollars and it sounds just as good as my 600 dollar watson classic flame electric. I'm not crazy about the balance. It's a bit heavy on the headstock end but never the less great to play. I was looking for a lefthanded guitar and I saw this one with a strap pin for left and right handed handed players, and since the guitar is symetrical it was perfect. As far as looks I think it's just as good if not better looking than the gibson flying v but it costs 1200 dollars less. I play heavy metal and this guitar sounds great for that. It also has a good weight to it with a sturdy construction so it's perfect for beating my brother with.

I play in a heavy/death metal band so this guitar not only looks great it sounds like a chainsaw(beutiful), I`m using crate amplification, that i`ve had for around 10 years and it suits the amp well. i can get a full sound out of it even when tones are full on, which in my experience is unusuall, plus is great for the speedy solo`s.

This guitar is perfectly ballanced, eg. neck doesn`t drop when playing, so head stock is not too heavy. I got her second hand for $250.00 Australian, so there is a bit of oxidization on the Bridge , but not enough to come through the chrome, plus the front strap pin is also loose , but i think this is just through bad previous owner.
Paint job is still in great condition.

this guitar was baught for live shows due too looks, but will definately keep up with the sound of the Gibson les paul previously used live.all on this rig is solid as the day it was made except for the strap pins which need fixing, definately a dependable axe.

I have Been playing Guitar for 10 years now , and all that time I`ve wanted a Flying V , now my dreams have been answered, out of pure luck as i was looking for pedals at the time of finding this gem, if it were lost or stolen i would definately hunt another down as I love this beast , The only anoying thing about this guitar is the positioning of the strap pins, i cannot put a thick leather strap on this sucker as the forward pin is too close to the neck, but i will replace this pin anyway. i love the action as the strings are almost touching the neck with no interferance, Beautiful, what else can i say , theres no turning back now hahahahaha.
