Early eighties acoustic dreadnought, made in Japan. Bound rosewood 20 Fret neck with chrome tuners. Simple soundhole detailing, bound lamintate body, light grain finish top with dark side and back. Hard to say what the body wood is. The finish is typical Vantage, thick and glossy.

Sound is bright, but not not shrill. I have compared this guitar's sound favourably with mid line Fender, Martin, Garrison and Norman acoustics.

Very playable, with low action and no buzz when playing reasonably.

Never played 'live', and well treated over the years. The underlying body bridge support struts inside the guitar gave way about 1990, rendering the guitar unplayable. In a state of panic, I brought it to a local violin luthier who said he could fix it, but the fix might not last very long...that was 14 years ago now.
The finish is indestructable and the rest of the guitar is holding up very well. I'd give it a 9 if it weren't for the original cave-in.
