Classical guitar with rosewood back and sides and solid spruce top. Top of the line of Ventura classical guitars for a reason

I own the 1583 1585 and 1588 as well as this 1600. The reviews on these guitars are very interesting. The 1583 and 1585 are higher rated than the 1588. Huh? I can say with real knowledge that the higher the model number the greater the original cost and quality of the make. Although all of these models sound great for the money, you get what you pay for. The 1600 was the top of the line and sounds fabulous. Does it beat a $5000 Ramirez? No(I have one). Does it beat anything under $1000? I think so. I used to have a Gibson classical that was double the price of Venturas and was just a hunk of wood in comparison. When Bruno imported Ventura guitars they were made in many different shops. The classicals were their main focus for years and the results show. This guitar sounds great...better than any $1000 classical that you can find.

45 years playing, Latin Jazz, folk, rock...I own over 50 guitars...20 of the Venturas as well as Martins, Guilds and other Japanese copies. Venturas are the best value in the market, bar none
