Features : 9
I bought this in June 2005 brand new. Comes with lifetime warranty to the original owner. The new Ventura are made in China. This one is solid top, laminate back and sides. Acousict-electric mini-jumbo cutaway. 4 band EQ.

Sound : 8
I am using it for church stuff plugged in through our PA system. Sounds good, a little bassy, but can be tweaked to sound fine.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Set up is a little high from factory. I am going to shave the saddle down a bit to get it where I want it. The finish is nice, and there seem to be no manufacturing flaws.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I think this guitar will do fine for me. I don't know if it would hold up out on the road or not.

I have played guitar for about 30 years. I own a Martin D-15, Yamaha FG-335G, Danelectro U-2, Univox Ripper, Eastwood "Univox Hi-Flyer" reissue, Weber Absaroka Mandolin. Play the mando and the D-15 in a local Bluegrass band. Use the electrics for various fun stuff.
I intend to use this Ventura for church and local acoustic gigs.
Don't think it can be beat, for the price.
