As far as I can find out Vester guitars were produced in the mid to late 80's up until 1995 Whne they went out of business. My guitar I would presume was made in the 80's due to the styling of the logo in comparison to others I have seen ( could be wrong though.. )
Basic 335 Copy however the 'ears 'look a bit smaller than the original. Edgebound body which has yellowed nicely
Its a solid wood centre block with laminated sides, rosewood fretboard, no idea what the neck is as its painted. The hardware is decent enough, grover mini copy machine heads, all pretty solid and keeps tune great even with my penchant for aggressive bending.
The pick ups are amazing.PassiveThe usual 335 / Les Paul arrangment, two volume, two tone and a three-way toggle switch

Sound : 10
I play a lot of different styles, from rock to jazz to hip hop, funk and this guitar can deal with the all easily.
The pick ups are amazing, no noise at all and the dynamics are fantasic.I have a strat with EMG's and I have never heard a passive guitar come as close to this in terms of clarity. If you roll some of the volume off the definition for picking is amazing and really warm sounding. There is plenty of power there as well, you can get screaming distortions with ease. I play either through a Boss GT6 or guitar rig and I love the versitility of the sounds I can get.
No complaints, great great sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I got this guitar from a friend,it had been lying in a corner for years...
Once set up and properly intonated it plays like a dream, absolutely NO dead spots on the neck. The frets are medium/jumbo, quite high off the fretboard. I have tens on it and it sings.
The build quality is great, set-neck which is as straight as an arrow. All the bindings etc are flawless.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It looks like it has already suvived years of abuse and I am sure it will take years more.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Time Machine ?

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 18 years now and own a number of guitars, from Squires to ESP Customs.
This is a truly great guitar, I knew nothing of this brand before getting my hands on this and I can honestly say if I saw another one I would snap it up.
