Strat body, s-s-h, floyd rose, 21 frets, made in Japan. She's playing wild for 21 years, and it's just great!

Sound : 10
From surf rock to dire straits, from Pink Floyd to Metallica, with this guitar I can play almost everything! Great "fender" sound, hambucker with good power and wild!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The paint job after 15years started giving me problems, but a new paint and it's new again! The wood's are great, never had problems. The set-up at the factory was poor, but every guitar needs to get a set-up "made by yourself".

Reliability/Durability : 10
She's playing for 21years, almost every week on road! What should I say??

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never needed to.

I have that Vester, I have also one OLP Petrucci Licenced Copy and bought now one Ibanex RG470. I've played with Fender, Epiphone, LTD and PRS Santana. My Vester is the guitar I hope to stay working till I'm 80 years old (and I'm just 25).

was made in korea i don't know when (late 80's early 90's?) 21 frets
s/s/h with volume, tone and h/bucker splitter knobs, on off switches for each pu, pu's are covered and have a vester decal, floyd rose bridge and locking nut, gotoh tuners, bound maple neck with very thin laminate and rosewood fret board, with leather vester strap and gig bag, black body with very thick laminate and bizzarre broken egg art work.

Sound : 9
this guitar has multiple personality disorder. don't believe some of the bad reviews of this guitar on this site, as i have a sneaking suspiscion that whoever wrote them must either have badly beaten and abused guitars (as a lot of the reviewers themselves point out) or simply don't know what the F*** they are talking about. mine is in near new condition and has wonderful warm clean neck tones and lovely distorted brige sound, and a lot of variety thanks to the pu on/off switches which give you more tone options and are more reliable than those notorious 3/5 way selectors which seem to be dirt magnets. excellent. very useful guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
finish on my guitar is very nice, not spectacular but nice. i have no idea what the set up was like from the factory, but this guitar is at least ten years old and spent a good 5 years sitting in its bag waiting for some attention and apart from the bridge which was in very bad shape, everything else is A1 (little bit of dirt in the pots, but i defy anyone to find a ten year old 2nd hand guitar that dosn't need the pots cleaned). pretty well built guitar for the going price.

Reliability/Durability : 7
after removing the badly rusted, poorly designed old bridge and installing a shiny new floyd rose, i can use this guitar exclusively no problems. in some other reviews i read of this guitar people complained about how hard it is to tune, to them i have this to say: learn how to use a locking nut you fools! once you master this somewhat-tedious-at-first feature, with properly stretched strings, this guitar will stay in tune for WEEKS. as for the other complaints about noisy 3/5way selectors, my guess is a little bit of tlc and pot cleaning would remedy this, but my 3 on/off selectors are ideal. its on or its off, no scratchy back and forth, and more versatile. finish on the body looks about 1.5 mm thick so its not going anywhere in a hurry, especially if you take care of it. 7 because of the bridge.

Customer Support : No Opinion
vester who? i think they are seajay or seagull guitars now.

Overall Rating : 9
i have been playing for 16 years, have played lots of different guitars, and for a guitar that apparently inhabbits the lower end of the market, this is a bargain (especially as i didn't pay for mine!) in my oppinion. my example is in very good condition however, so i'd be careful with one thats been abused (but then again, wouldn't you be anyway?) i have a feeling that mine may have been made near the end of the life of vester guitars as some of the features of mine don't appear in other reviews, so maybe vester were picking up thier act a bit towards the end of thier run, as the electrics seem fine (they didn't die while the bridge rusted away) and everything else about it seemed to be easily on a par with other Ibanez's i've owned. on a note of interest i have a friend who owns a Jackson (the guitar the stage series was copied off) and in every respect they are identical (except for the strange broken egg artwork). from a short distance you would not be able to tell that they are from two different companies, but with the vester apparently about 1/3 - 1/4 the price, this is a sh*t hot bargain. don't believe the crap reviews by idiots that don't know what they are on about, if it has been taken care of and shown some love, it will sing or shred with the best (just get rid of the original bridge!)

Made sometime in the '80's in korea I believe, 22 frets solid top 1 volume 1 tone individual pickup on/off switches.
S/S/H stock passive pickups, I couldn't comment on the wood, something reasonably heavy.
Super strat style body with a tremolo similar to a floyd rose.
thin neck with jackson style inlays and angled head.
7 because it's adequate but the individual switches are excellent.

Sound : 9
This guitar souinds extremely good, sound being the most important category as far as I am concerned, it sounds better than my Ibanez and cost my 1/3 the price. In fact I'm selling the I banez and buying a second vester. It gets a little bit noisy if you really crank up the overdrive but it's not intrusive and very few guitars don't. The neck pickup is really warm and full while the bridge is brighter (no surprises there!!) and sounds better distorted. The pickups are quite good and fairly hot for stock pickups. 9 because I don't believe anything is perfect.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I bought it second hand so factory settings are irrelevent, it takes forever to tune after changing string height because of the locking tremolo. For the same reason though you can set the string height wherever you like.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Nothing on the guitar has broken while I've had it so that's a good sign! The finish is really good, you'd need to hit it with a hammer to mark it. The original screws holding the strap buttons on were very short, I didn't give them a chance to rip out I just reeplaced them.

Customer Support : No Opinion
company is defunct, victim of rampant protectionist litigation

Overall Rating : 9
If it were stolen or lost I would be verrry upset it is the best guitar I have had. I've compared it to a few others including my Ibanez, a Cort X6 and a Squier strat (nothing too flash, Im not made of money) and t beat them all. I give it a 9 overall because not only is it damn good, it ws damn cheap too. $100!! you can spend more on a service at some places!! I've seen karaoke drinking binges that cost more and sounded much much worse!!

22 frets, solid top, volume, tone, 3 pickup switches, s/s/h, active electronics, snakeskin pattern finish, floyd rose bridge, thin neck, sharkfin inlays, included tremolo arm and gig bag

Sound : 7
i mainly play surf instrumental with this guitar, and it works well with it, but it can switch to metal or acoustic rock with a stomp of a pedal, i use a boss distortion pedal and a rogue gs-50r amp, it buzzes alot around the amp, but thats more the amp's fault than anything, it doesnt feedback, no matter how close you get to amp, it can make just about any sound you want it to, the pots need to be cleaned

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
the action was just a little high, but i fixed that with a turn of a screw, other than that this is a great guitar, it could be a lot lighter though

Reliability/Durability : 9
this is a great guitar, worth using at smaller gigs, but a bit difficult to deal with for long concerts due to its weight, i wouldnt use a backup if i was only playing surf at the gig, but i would if i was going to play other styles because i rest my hand on the bridge and with the vester it messes with the sound while i play

Don't know the building year. bought it in early 2000 used.
22 frets, big frets
S/S/H configuration with (i guess) a split coil function on the tone knob
1 tone, 1 volume, 5 way selector
very heavy body, strat copy
don't know what fretboard is used (it's dark)
passive elements
finish, when i bought it, it was white, now i re-painted it, and it is like the union jack
bridge looks like a floyd rose, with locking tuners

Sound : 8
over the years the sound had been changed a lot. it had a terrible setup when i bought it, and i have repaired it and so, and now it sounds a lot better then before
i use it over an boss GT-6 and an Randall RG100SC amp
i play a wide variety of music styles with it, from pop, rock to metal and gothic and punk.
once the middle single coil broke down because some thing i did, and after i repaired that, it sounded very different. there is much difference between the 2 single coils, the neck one has a very low sound with not much high, the middle single coil has is both, and the humbucker is very clean.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
i don't know how it was set up exactly, because when i bought it i just played for half a year guiter. i guess it could a lot better, and so i did. i have a low action now, because i like it this way. i like it the way it is now, because the wide variety of sounds i can get from it (see above) and it's capable for playing my styles.
the 5 way switch is not bad, but in position 2 it is bad, and it cut's away al the high tones from the 2 single coils, so that gives a very special sound which i like, so it maybe is a 6-way switch now :-P

Reliability/Durability : 6
i play in 2 bands now, and with both i play often on stage.
i have never had any problems with this guitar, only my strings broke 2 times, but that can happen with each guitar. because the poor quality of the pu's, it wil easily give feedback with the distortion on. about the bridge: it looks good, but in the beginning it was broke because the 3 screws were f***** up, and the bridge was about 1 inch from the body. i glue-ed it together with 1-second-glue, and i don't now how long this will hold, but i guess it won't lasts long.
i haven't a back-up guitar, so on stage i have to borrow one from the other guitarist if this one is broken.
if i have my new guitar (Ibanez rg 2570EX) then i will use this guitar as a back-up guitar.
i have my own finish on this guitar (union jack flag-paint) so i don't know how good it will last, but for now it looks very good.

Customer Support : No Opinion
no, never dealt with the company, because they don't exist anymore.

Overall Rating : 9
it's also very hard to get any info on the internet, this is the first site that has reviews about this guitar, but i don't know if all the reviews above are from the same guitar, because the set up is so different (21, 22 frets, pu configuration, 1 of 2 tone-controls etc) i have a photo posted on my website (http://members.lycos.nl/vester86), so check if it is the same guitar...
i will buy this guitar again when it is stolen, then i will paint it again like it is now, and then i will put it on the wall, because it was my first guitar, and i will keep it forever. when this one is stolen i will buy a ibanez rg 2570, because i want a good-quality guitar. i love the heavy body, because it sounds good, i hate the strap buttons, and the bridge is also not good, but it does stay in tune really good, so no comments anymore. a good feature is the fine-tuners on the bridge, they work better than the normal tuners.
i wish it had a neck-humbucker pu but my new guitar will have that :>
for a starter-guitar it's very good i think, i like it very much.

I bouht this guitar from a friend , used only paid U$ 40
It had some problems that were solved when I set the guitar up
it has 22 frets , two simple coils , one humbucker at the bottom , 2 pots one for tone the oter for volume, a floyd rose , and has a locking tuners , don't know the brand , it also has a 5 way selector
and all passive electronics ,I ain't shure of what kind of wood it is made of. it is pure black , no details or draws.
She is just awesome!!.

Sound : 10
I often use it for playing heavy metal with a heavy distortion ,i use a peavey amplifier, the sound produced by the humbucker is awesome it just pierce trogh your ears (really powerfull). But sometimes I use it to play acoustic , clean sound , very rich and sweet .
If you calibrate the coils and equalize it well the sound just pro.
Can't complain about it's sound

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion

Reliability/Durability : 8
I'have this guitar for almost a year and a half and the last owner had it for 3 years, sinceresly i haven't take enough care of her , but it stills sounds like the first day i played it. it just has a little noise from the volume pot , I think it's dirty , i should clean it.
Very strong guitar.

Overall Rating : 10
In relation to the price and the quality of the guitar I can only say it's the best i 've ever found.

I've played different guitars,
Fender, Peavey , Epiphone, Yamaha, etc
And all I have to say is that this guitar is the one i liked best , i would change it for nothing ( but maybe for an ESP F200)

I have bought it for almost 1 year, is red wine coulerd, I think mine it was made in the UK,I guess, it has 22 frets solid top with 2 controls (Volume and tone) S/S/H pickup configuration with (on /off) per PU, i dont know the maker but the single coils are good but not with much gain as the Ham Pu as, but not as clear as the single ones, Passive elctronics, very Good wood, mine as sufferd a lot and still in sharp condition..

Sound : 8
It suits me well for my music style that is progressive metal with Low ends and dropped tunnig(all C). I use a Mental monster pedal->Roland signal processor->H&K Attax 100 combo power amp with 2x12.
It's not noisy becouse i waxed the pick ups and i have a very good response with out hums or feedbacking. It as a great clean sound on the single coils and lots of gain in the hambucker but not to clear( i will replace it). i can play very kind of stuff with the guitar since Funk/jazz to extreme metal passing thru blues. My likes are the quality of contrution if i look at the price and features, deslikes, the arm is to fat, but is excelent for learning, once you learn on this babe, you will play with a ibanez Jem...

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Very well set up and adjusted....

Reliability/Durability : 8
I do live acts with no back up, it's my guitar and as normally i do to all my stuff, super well maintence and cheking for no fails, the hardware was built for my grandsons, only a periodic clennig is needed(pick up, floyd, ect). the strap buttons are solid and i can depend on it, i use it with out a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never eared anything from them...

Overall Rating : 8
i've been playing for 5 years, i own a Custom guitar for practice and the vester for playing, i have Marshall and H&K amps, if it was stolen by the price i bought it , i would buy it again with no doubt, I love the clean sound and the arm, is so solid.... i wish it had a Hambucker like Emg 81 or similar...

This Vester guitar is special. It's a Stage Series but has got the shape of a Jackson RR (Randy Rhoads), very nice and very metal. Has got 2 humbuckers, a bit noisy but very powerful if used with much low sound on an equalizator or amplifier. 22 frets, quite thin neck. The original color vas white with black controls an pickups. Just like the Jackson!!

Sound : 6
The humbuckers have an high sound, it penetrates into your ear like a blade!! I use to play metal with this guitar, and it sounds pretty good, expecially on stage, where the particular shape of the guitar adds that bit more to the show. I play it with a bit add of "low" on the equalization to have a power sound. With a flat equalization it sounds a bit noisy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
The electrics in this guitar are not so good, in fact I had to re-build the electric connections twice. But the wood is great, and solid.

Reliability/Durability : 4
It's a metal guitar, made to last: but only the wood!! The electrics are quite unpredictable!! Sometimes (before I rebuild them) they simply will leave you without sound... and you were fucked (expecially on the stage!!!). But it's a part of the show, ain't it?

Customer Support : No Opinion
The Vester broke, or not?

Overall Rating : 8
It's good for the study because is thin, it's great for the stage because of the shape. It's the heavy-metal-show guitar every guitarist would like play sometimes. But I take always with me 2 other guitars as an insurance!! (a Fender Stratocaster and a Jackson).

I am not quite sure where or when my Vester was made. It has 22 frets. It has a 3-way, volume, and tone. Pickups are s/s/h. It has a maple neck with a mahogany fret board. It has a Floyd Rose fine tuning bridge, locking tuner system. Kind of looks like a srat. The necks thin. And it came with a case.

Sound : 3
This guitar will make every sound in the book. The problem is that in the punk rock music they usily go cleen to heavy. It takes a lot to get this guitar to do that. It sounds like crap when you pause in the middle of a song. Other than that it sounds great!

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I didn't buy this guitar from the factory, or new for that matter. But it is origional everything except for (I think) the active electronics.

Got mine in late 1988 and had it ever since. As 22 fret neck with artificial fretboard (something they call "ebonol"), 2 single & 1 humbucking pickup. nice finish (mines metallic red).

Sound : No Opinion
I've used this on a variety of small to midrange amps, occasionally with distortion or chorus. sounds reasonably good. lots of sustain but can be a bit thin on higher notes on B & E strings, could use a bit of careful eq up in the high end.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Didn't find anything wrong with components when I got it but the locking nut did need to re replaced after 3 years (a minor repair). I tend to keep the action higher than most players (I use .10 to .46 nickle steel strings).

Reliability/Durability : 8
The hardware and finish have lasted me 13 years now with very minor problems, 1 was replacing locking nuts and other was truss rod adjustment.

Customer Support : 8
Didn't deal with the manufacturer directly but with the canadian distributer at the time who were helpful. Had another distributor few years ago from when I originally bought it.

This is my first guitar and I still have it. No I wont be replacing it. All though the next model up did have active pickups which I prefer.

I don't know the year, although I have had this guitar for 6 years now. I bought it new from Snutks Music in Chicago for $375 American. S/S/H active pickups, licensed Floyd trem, thin neck with jumbo frets. Very much a Jackson type guitar. I replaced the three toggle switches with a strat 5 way switch. 1 volume, 1 treble, and 1 bass pot. It has an extremely cool rainbow graphic on the front, which is why I bought it.

Sound : 10
Very versitile guitar. Great strat tones on neck pickup with bass rolled off. Perfect "in-between" sound with neck and middle pickups. Major screamer tone from bridge humbuck with active circuit on 10. Go from "Little Wing" to "Cult of Personality" in a heartbeat.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
It did require a setup, no big deal.

Reliability/Durability : 10
As stated, I bought this guitar for the paint job, only to find out it was a pretty nice guitar overall. I have played the hell out of it for 6 years now, and aside for the usual setups now and then, it is holding up very well. What do you want for 375 bucks?
I gig with this guitar every weekend, along with a tele and a PRS. It holds tune and is just about bulletproof.

I have no idea when that guitar was made. I bought it 5 years ago. S-H combination, 1 volume knob, 3 way selector switch (just like the other Stage series with the S-S-H, tone, volume knobs), Red finish, start body style, cheap pickups, lack the guts and warmth! A very cheap LICENSED Floyd Rose tremolo ( I can't imagine who liscensed it in the Floyd Rose company, but the guy was shot for sure for his terrible mistake :)) The neck is very thin. But it's not that playable. Floyd screws were included and a hardshell case.

Sound : 4
The guitar is a beginners guitar! once you got over that step, just put it in the nearest trash or sell it for a beginner. I use it with a Marshall valvestate amp or a HiFi. But u can feel a good pickup anywhere! These are not! lack the warmth and sustain. I use it with a Boss GT-3 and that's the only reason this guitar sounds good.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The finish is ok. It has a good feel to it.. not very playable, but yet nice... not bad

Reliability/Durability : 1
The cheapest Floyd Rose I have ever seen! The seconf time I used the whammy, the bridge was 2 pieces!!! Never seen it in my life! crap! The guitars falls out of tune the moment u shut the tuner off!

It isn't make with a very good wood and the neck is very thin: it smash your hand at the firsts times!!! but i think this is not a big problem 'cause when you play another guitar after that, you fly! it's a guitar for studing, and it works good for that job.
it has got 5 switchs, 2 tones control and 1 volume control. pay attention 'coz in time they can give you problems like fuzzing when they are used (specially for the switch).
it's a strat copy and it looks very cool: it's red with some beautiful light yellou differnt stripes; i love it!!
the tremolo works good, it don't give me any problem: perfect.

Sound : 7
i repeat: this guitar is for learn the electric and also for the sound i have to say good. it gotta 2 single pickups and an humbucker, it worcks pretty good with the distorsion. also the clean sound is ok, but you have to have a good ampli or it sounds awful, like all other guitars. the sound is a bit noisy but i play a lot of punk and i don't care too much. but also when i'm on led zep, vh or other rock songs, it sound ok. i repeat, it's to learn, but it's very good for that job.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
i browght it used with a new set up and new parts and it was ok. the pickups arn't special, but for the price you can find nothing better. if you change the electric parts you have anyway the wood problem: it isn't very good, it make fuzzs or feed-backs. but i can say generally it's ok.

Reliability/Durability : 6
it's used and i think it has about 7/10 years but it works pretty weel also now. the problems are about the switchs: they fuzzs too much when i change and sometimes the sound it's "hide" for that. if you see the guitar you can't the pickups are new, they are old and they cannot hide that... but they go anyway. the tremolo it's ok like the neck and the finish. you have to give it some cares if you want to use it for 15 years or more.

Customer Support : No Opinion
i don't ever need to deal the custom support.

Overall Rating : 7
you wanna learn on an electric baby?? BUY IT!!! it's perfect for that job, but it's very good also for amateurs and for anyone likes play guitar but they haven't a band or something like that. i like it!

ok, this guitar is my first electric one, and i think it's pretty good guitar to start with...
i am really new in the electric guitar thing so i don't know much about types of pickups...

anyway... this guitar is a pretty good stratocaster imitate.
solid body, black, maple fretboard, 21 frets, which is pretty anoying they couldn't add 1 fret...
i have not idea where it was made but i assume in korea...
3 tone dilse, i mean, one of them is volume...
5 pickup modes....

Sound : 7
sounds ok, i think, i just need a good amp to make it better...
sometimes my pickup humms a bit but that's because the strings are to close to the pickups, i need to change it sometimes...
there's a little background noise, but again, it depends where u plug this guitar too...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
action is pretty good, nice hold of the board...
maple wood fretboard, and the body i have no idea but i can see it's pretty good kind,...

well, after i get it set uped i won't be afraid to perform with it... i'd need somebackup but this guitar can hold a good gig...
this guitar is second handed so, it lasted pretty damn good for more than 8 years!

Don't know what year. Vester is out of business I hear. Solid top, very nice finish (mine is kind a florescent mustard with metal flake). tone and volume controls. 3 way switch to select between single coil neck and humbucker bridge pickups. Pickups are "no name". Neck is ash, i think, with rosewood fretboard. Bridge is Floyd-rose, with locking nut. Tuners are no name, but good quality (better than other strat copies like Squire or Lotus).

Sound : 7
Kinda noisy, not excessive. Neck p/u is strong mid-range, beefy for rhythm and distortion/overdrive. Bridge pickup is smooth, brighter, but full tone. Both p/us is bright, a little thin, but workable for lead lines. It's got a pretty mellow sound with stock p/us. They're not real hot, but give decent drive for effects. It's got a great feel when playing. Very responsive neck.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I got it used at a pawn shop (is there any other place to buy a guitar?) Pickups were fine. Soldering looks good, though the electronics are a little noisy from mileage. I'll definitely be replacing the jack and probably the switch and both pots soon.

Reliability/Durability : 7
tough guitar with a tough finish. Looks sharp and can take punishment. The tremolo bridge is a little suspect. I haven't played a gig with it yet. But it does come with a locking nut, so tuning shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
??? I think the company is defunct. but nothing on the guitar is "custom". Neck is bolt-on... pickups can be replaced off the shelf, tuners are stock, etc.

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing guitar for years, but electric for only one year. I own three other electrics... This has better "off the shelf" features than the Squire and Lotus I own. It's got a great playing feel. I love the sound... though with only two pickups that are both on the mellow, mid-rangey side, the sound variety will depend on the effects you have. I wish it had another pickup for more variety.

dont have much info on guitar besides its strat style single pickup single volume unit with a cheap whammy bar and no locking nut.
its 22 fret maple neck thats been sanded flat on back and feels and plays nice. i presume the tuners and pickups have been replaced
as it houses a dimarzio and half ass set of tuning keys

Sound : 4
i play most anything and been playing for years but prefer hard rock
and it does the job for what it is? as I picked it up for next too nothing at pawnshop

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
it looks like it had alot of work done on it before i picked it up ,
but as it sits does everything way it should, and looks ok

Reliability/Durability : 5
like I said its had work done and i've set it up myself so would have no probs using it live or thrashing it.

where and when it was made I have no idea.... standard strat copy, volume, 2 tone controls, 5way selector, came by itself with no accessories and didn't even have a back cover (still doesn't!) No idea what it's made of... but it was a fairly cool looking black left-handed guitar, so I bought it...

Sound : 5
sound is okay... had bad trouble with 5 way selector when bought it, had to pull it all apart and fix it all up.... was really noisy, now not too bad... quite good in fact. New strings made a huge difference to the sound, a lot brighter now than before. Overall the sound could be better, but for a novice like me, it'll do for now.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
noisy pickup selector, quite bad rust on screws and bridge, tuning pegs etc.. Tuning pegs on couple of strings were real loose... made them a bit tighter with a hammer (after taking them off the guitar!), but will probably replace them all one day.

Reliability/Durability : 5
so far this guitar has required quite a bit of TLC... it's becoming more reliable, strap buttons are probably the best you'd find on any guitar!... the body is a bit cracked around the neck, so I wouldn't go throwing it around or anything.... the finish is quite good... has taken a fair bit of cut and polish to remove scratches and stuff and looks good when polished, not much chance of it wearing through... a few chips and stuff including one on the fretboard... so may get it refinished one day.....

Customer Support : No Opinion
Vester - no longer around... hard to find info on their guitars....

Overall Rating : 6
I wish I knew a bit more about guitars b4 I bought this one, but I'm happy with it all the same, it has forced me to learn exactly how it works 'cos I had to do something to almost every part of it to get it sounding good... Love the look of it.. and it feels great, would love to hook it into some massive amps and effects gear and see how it goes, if stolen or lost (wouldn't get lost!) then I'd have to seriously consider what I bought next.... depend what left-handed guitars were around when I was looking I guess..... probably go for something different just for the sake of it..... but I'm happy for now...

Don't know what year it was made or where, i got it second hand.
21 frets, 2 tone, 1 volumn, 5 way selector, 3 single pickups, wouldn't have a clue about what it's made of, Pink paint finish (girlie colour) regular bridge, regular tuners, don't know what brand, fat neck, pretty large frets, got it with a strap, whoopie.

Sound : 5
i play heavy metal and rock, haven't really played it much cuz it's so crappy. sound i guess is ok for a second hand lump of shit.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
spoze it was put together ok. the body is splitting around the neck tho. and it's pink.

Reliability/Durability : 3
this guitar wouldn't even make 1 song live. the hardware is pretty abused on this thing, pickups are a bit rusted, all the screws are rusted, replaced some of them.
the only decent thing about ti seems to be the solid strap buttons.
i couldn't depend on this thing to start a fire with and i'd never use the thing live, even as a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
the store i got it from keeps a 6th month warrenty on their stuff. it hasn't crapped out yet, well, that i know of. haven't had it plugged in in a while.

Overall Rating : 1
This sack of shit has been in retirement for a year. not so much that it sucked, i didn't mind the quality cuz it was just second hand, so i wasn't expecting much from it, that i had it signed by Sepultura when they were here last year. so i hold onto it for that reason.
now i'm playing an Ashton ibanez copy. much better than the Vester. the Vester's body is too solid and heavy for me. but oh well. i only got the Vester cuz it was the best looking and cheapest guitar the store had. if it was stolen, i'd hunt down and kill the prick that took it, for the sole purpse of those 4 signatures on it. but i wouldn't buy a new one.

It's an early 90's and it's low price. It got a 22 fret neck. Never mind to find out what wood it's made of, but it got a rosewood fretboard with sharktuth inlay. Orginal setup with 1 volume,2 tune and a on/of switch for each PU. PU setup is s/s/h and active(eats batery).Suck as hell.It got a strata style body with a cool snake skin finish. A very low price floyd kind of thing or something.

Sound : 8
It sound awful, but looks cool. It's not suitable for my style which is Heavy rock? Had to change PU's to a EMG 85 and it sounds great, must be the best PU.Whit orginal PU's it would be a 1 course the notes seamed to not be there. But now it sounds OK.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
It was setup like shit, so had to set it up my self. Action was the highest I ever seen. But this is one of thise guitars which include a small amp, cables....you know, so you can't exept a perfect setup.

Reliability/Durability : 2
You can't play it live whitout backup, it don't stay in tune course of the floyd thing. As an orginal axe it suck, everything suck. But whith a few mods its OK(it will never be god, but OK)as a backup while your friends chaging strings. It looks COOL on stage. NEVER EVER USE IT WITHOUT BACKUP.

Overall Rating : 4
It was my first axe and i got as a x-mas gift for about 8-9 years ago. Been playin' for five years in bands. I would never buy one again, Idon't know why I haven't smacked it on stage.I think it's for the cool look.If it was stolen I wouldn't care too much.
