Basically in a word SHITE! The neck on mine started to split, Phoned JHS
who refused to do anything at all. This really surprised me as they could have easily sent me a replacement, but obviously they are thinking about their profit margin and the #20 they'd save (probly how much it costs from a Chinese sweat shop).
The neck had a knott in it but they have refused to help and washed there hands of it

My wife bought this for me as a wedding present 5 years ago. Imported and distributed by John Hornby Skewes in UK from Korea or somewhere, bought mail order.
14 frets to the body, copy of a National Style O at a fraction of the price. Single resonator, Crowes feet cover. Rosewood style fretboard. Bell Brass body, chromed or nickel plated with good quality.
Thin frets on a flat fretboard, no radius - built for slide work. Plush hard case included in price. - Excellent Case.

The sound is great for slide, and better for finger-picking blues. this guitar is loud for an acoustic, it will transmit any squeaks and string scratches - The volume and depth does take getting used to - prepare to change your style a little. The guitar (being made of metal) actually takes a few minutes to warm up - honestly - the tone will change after a few minutes use. There is a natural reverb with the guitar, the metal resonator supplies a great volume and reverb. - Magic. Not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely a Blues guitar.

The guitar was set up for slide only when I got it. Action too high for finger picking. I repair guitars in my spare time, so it was no problem for me to fix, but basically I had to adjust the truss rod and shave the wood bridge fixed to the biscuit to get an action suitable for slide and finger picking. I charged the guitar shop for the work I done, and guess what ?- they actually paid me. Once sorted the guitar has been rock solid for 5 years. Mine was just a bad set-up. Replaced the cone with a National cone some time ago and the improvement was superb. - National parts will interchange - but NOT the resonator cover - different depth - be warned.

Being made of metal, it will last for ever. Played live with it, recorded in my home studio on multiple songs, and am always annoying the neighbours with it. Finish has lasted perfectly for the last 5 years, be prepared to polish though. Would rely on this guitar for live work and for recording.

Been playing for 5 years, also play a Les Paul Studio, use this guitar for recording and acoustic No's. Play in a Blues Band and a Pop-Rock band. Would be devastaded if destroyed or stolen - great guitar and sentimental value (wedding present). My favourite feature is the natural reverb from the bell brass body. Did fit a transducer for recording - DONT - the nass of the transducer on the cone changes the tone. Best acoustic guitar I've ever played. Buy one !

This is a 2000, Bell Brass nickel plated resontaor. It's a replica of the style O national that mark knopfler uses. It has a rosewood baord with 14 frets to the body. It has a 9.5" spun aluminium cone with a 'chicken foot cover plate. It has all the other characteristics of the nataional resonator guitar such as biscuit bridge and rolled F holes. It has some really nice gotoh tuners and mine, bought second hand has a pickup umder the bridge(not much good though) but i won't be pluggin it in anyway. The finish is a really nice polished nickel plate and is no the ornate looking engraved ones. The build quality is nowhere like a national but for the money spent is an excellent way to get into slide.

I have bought this guitar for slide and it doesn't disapoint. It has a nice high action and i've changed the lighter strings to some heavy 15's and it sounds really sweet. It has a nice bright sound but i'm gonna change the cone for a national one as a reccomendation so hopefully that will give it more life too. If ur into the bob brozmans to robert johnsons then this is a great budget guitar to start with.

Bought second hand i did a little tweaking for my settings. Firstly with the heavier strings and also a little with the action. Otherwise great condition and build.

I play many style and have played for 15 years. I play a les paul standard and an SG standard for my live rig through a fender twin, boosted with various effects such as tube screamers, ax1000g blah blah blah.
This was bought as a new venture outside the live band as a little blues prject with a mate and it doesn't disappoint.
I'd certainly seek another one if this was lost.
I only wish it was a national...ahh we can dream!
