3 P-90 pick ups, beautiful Red finish, 22 frets, push button Mid control, solid construction. The only flaw that this guitar has is it's overly sensitive volume and mid control knobs.

Sound : 9
I play a mix between Hard Rock and Praise and Worship. This guitar has held up great. I had read some bad reviews about this guitars ability to gig, but I've had no problems at all, and I gig 3-4 nights a week. It definitely likes to play the blues... ;)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
Factory set up was junk... I took it to a buddy of mine that owns a guitar shop and had it set up right. The guitar itself is beautiful. The p-90 pick ups are pretty amazing. Its a good looker to have sittin' on stage. Simply because of the crappy factory set up, I'm docking some points.

Reliability/Durability : 8
It's very solid. Well made. I do gig regularly with this guitar. I've owned it for 3 months now, with no problems. Doesn't break strings, stays in tune, I love it.

Overall I love this guitar. Usually you get what you paid for, but with this guitar you get 2-3 times what you paid for it. You don't get the token name that you would if you spent $1,000-$1,500 but you do get the sound, and that's what it's about. I took a chance on this guitar and it payed off big time. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The Wilkinson pickups are great. Tuners and bridge could be replaced. I took this in for a setup and the luthier thought this was a great guitar, just said that if I really wanted to make this guitar rock that I should replace the bridge and tuners. Electronics work fine. The Roll control from humbucker to single coil is definitely an interesting feature and gives a very large range of sounds. The roll control dial can also be pushed in or out (like a button.) I read somewhere that when it is pushed in, it actives the middle pickup. 3 P-90s which is rather rare for a semi-hollow guitar which gives this guitar an edge over the AV3. Overall great features for the guitar. Only downside is the cheap bridge and tuners.

Great sound from this guitar. The Wilkinson P90s create a great fat sound. With the roll control we can roll from a thinner single coil sound to a fat humbucker sound, which is not something you can get from most guitars. The luthier I took it into for a set-up played around with it and was very impressed by the fat sound from the pickups. Great guitar for all styles really. Good jazz/blues sound which I play more into. I can also play lead licks with this guitar. Toss on some gain and it sounds great for rock.

This is the huge downfall to this guitar. The factory set-up was terrible. I was getting buzz from all strings. The pickup levels were decent not great. The higher up on the guitar I went it sounded really dead. The strings were ridiculously light, the luthier I took it into said they were like 8s. The strings were terrible and was having some problems with the nut and tuning. He tossed on a much heavier gauge, 11s, and they fit much better with the guitar. Just pretty bad setup. I took it in for a setup and when it came back it really sounds great. A good setup will turn this guitar from an extremely frustrating piece to a dream. The luthier who worked on this guitar did quite a bit of work, and did a little bit of filing on the saddles I believe it was. Don't completely remember. Maybe mine was a dud and was setup terribly. But if they're all like this, find a good luthier, and spend the money for a quality setup and this guitar will be beautiful. The only thing that brings this rating up is the beautiful finish. The guitar has an amazing finish and looks amazing.

I've only had it for a couple months. Don't plan on gigging with it but I think you could. Strap buttons feel good, feels like a strong guitar.

1 year warranty... I did contact them about the initial terrible set-up and a couple of irrelevant problems. They brushed me off and told me to go to the store where I bought it (Tom Lee). I said screw it and spent the money for a quality setup.

Overall Rating : 8
Great guitar when it comes down to it. I would be extremely angry if this was stolen. I would buy it again if I could get the money. I got it from Tom Lee 50% off from $1000 cdn for $500 cdn. I think it's great, only bad points is the setup which doesn't have too do that much with the quality of the guitar. I would give it a ten if I could but the poor setup drags it down to an 8.
