Gold top version. Thru-neck. Decent copy of the real thing.

The sound was quite impressive, especially the neck pickup. Nice deep meaty tone and a bright bridge pickup. Good for both clean and distorted effects, obviously not everyone agrees but I have a few recording I did from this guitar that I discovered recently and I was surprised how nice it sounded.

Action was average, too low and I got buzz at the 4th and 15th frets even with truss rod tweaking. Not as low as I like but not bad for a cheap guitar. Weight was quite heavy but thats how I like them. Sustain was good but not great.
I bought this cos it played nice in the shop. Ive never bought a guitar based on is looks and the glittery gold finish looked horrible to my eyes, it reminded me of that cheap paint you get on the dodgem cars at the fair ground!

I had an arguement with my girlfiend once and through my monitor at the wall and it fell on the guitar (very rock and roll eh lol) the damage was a couple of dents in a few frets and a dent in the body but it took the hefty weight of a 15" CRT monitor so thats impressive.

Not the best les paul copy ive had. I think that would go to the Tanglewood, but it is still a nice guitar and typical of les paul copies in this price range. I would not buy it again, I would rather try another brand but its an above average guitar in my opinion.

Big tonal range and plenty of power. Sounds good via Alesis effects amp and via Marshall with sionngle 10". Excellent rhytm action. Heavy like a sack of potatoes just like all LPs.

Good action out of the box but better still after pro set-up. Finish excellent except for slight mismatch in the topsides quilting. 3 way switch quit after 1 hour playtime so fitted a high-qual replacement. No big deal but annoying.

Playing for a very long time. There are minor quibbles with this guitar but overall it is astonishingly well-made, competent and classy with it. And for how much?

Korean Les Paul copy. Black with gold hardware. Set neck, 2 humbuckers, Tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar. Decent all metal machine heads. The wood is supposed to be mahogany, well it isn't and at this price I don't expect it. Rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar is let down by the electronics, which are pretty poor. The pickups sound ok clean but do not distort well at all, but at this price it is worth buying some new ones.

The guitar is very well made. It is never going to compete with a Gibson or high end copies like Tokai but it is very good for the money. It plays well, has a nice neck and the finish is good. The fingerboard is quite silky. The switch sits at an angle which looks a bit odd.

It should last a long time as it is well made. The gold finish will wear off but that's normal. I think it looks great when that happens!

I have been playing for 25 years and wanted a cheap guitar for slide. This fits the bill well as it is quite a decent guitar. It would suit a beginner or a more experienced player wanting a Les Paul on a budget. I think this is the best you will get for the money, it's a shame the pickups are poor but #60-70 should get you 2 decent replacements.
