this is a fine mahogany guitar. it has grover tuners that turn like butter. it has the thinnest neck you will ever find. fastest neck on earth. it weighs about 5 pounds. you can be slower than a turtle on guitar and you'll be speedy gonzales on this thing. you'll love it.

Sound : 10
this thing gets the best metal sound you can get. really gets that AC/DC and Metallica sound. put this thing through a marshall or a mesa and it kicks ass. i run it through my dad's Marshall 3203 and it sounds very good. if you want tone and distorion get this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
i bought this guitar used for about 350 bucks, it didnt have any nicks or flaws. hardware is good but i snapped a string on the bridge.
overall-beautiful guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 9
i just played my first gig, so i would really know. i heard that the necks break easily because theyre so thin.

Customer Support : 9
im going to go the repair man for intonation. intonation is almost perfect, but a little higher on the g string

Overall Rating : 9
ive been playing this for over a year and it beats a gibson by its feel. i tried some gibson sg's in guitar center but the necks are too thick and theyre not as fast as this one. if were lost or stolen i'd definately buy a new one.

This guitar has: two Humbuckers, with a a tone and volume for each, three way selector swtich, cool inlays, and a gloss black finish all over, bar the fingerboard. tune-o-matic bridge, stock tuners, wide neck. L do liek the nattyy back mounted strap button on the neck, as it lets the guitar hang easier. I cant't see anything wrong, but some stiffer machine heads would have been nice.

Sound : 10
Thuis guitar really suit my style- rock (any). I oplay it through a mumble mumble. All right, through a crummy 5 watt amp that I got 3 years ago when I started to play, happy now? The bass sounds like heaven, and the treble has some suprisingly mellow tones going for it. With a bit of distortion this thing will rock till the dawn.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Great. Action was nice and low, intonation was perfect, stays in tune brilliantly. The piece of acryllic just above the bass humbukcer had some defects, but I got rid of them carefully with a pen knife. the back plate is slightly greyer than the rest of the guitrar, and would show up if you could see it. The finsih is nice and glossy, it picks up finger prints well (a good sign), and seems to ahev no scratches (got it today)

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
No idea. I am treating it with kid gloves cos it's brand new, but it seems solid enough. The machine heads are quite free turning, and go out if you knock them, but its easier to fine tune. Strap buttons are great, byut I'd never gig without a back up, or strap-locks.

Customer Support : No Opinion
But it had a warranty for damage.

Overall Rating : 9
Been playin three years, and also have an excel strat copy (selling) and an epiphone strat style with added humbucker.
Loveyl guitar. If it were stolen I'd claim on the insurance, and buy another. I love the action, sound and finish, It is really high quailty for a copy. Well done vintage.
Unfortunately it is very neck heavy, and will plummet if you let go.
I wish ti had stiffer machine heads, and I wish that the back plate was black. Thats all folks

This guitar is equipt with 2 humbuckers, 3 way selector switch, tunomatic bridge, 2 volume controls and 2 tone controls.
Body style classic SG, very much like the gibson in looks except the (slightly) altered headstock. The neck is not bolted but is all on part of the body. Superb considering the Epiphone versions are much more expensive.

Sound : 9
I mostly play classic rock to nu-metal, and this guitar suits the bill when cracking out AC/DC riffs (especially lookin the same as angus) and downtunes nicely to drop D or even C with the right gauge strings and holds a very fat bottom end. For the price it sounds ridiculously good, heard worse guitars at 250quid.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The action is fairly low to allow quick playing and solo work, although some buzzing on the first fret when first got very easy to adjust and still keep a fairly good action.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar has taken alot of punishment and with alot of playing, live and practice, seems to have witstand it appart from an odd scratch or indentation but nothing major after 2 years. Using this without a back up would be insane, as with any other guitar cos ne thin could go wrong with ne guitar but thats not a minor point.

Customer Support : 9
Never had a problem with it and there was a 1 year warranty with the guitar

Overall Rating : 8
Superb guitar and good enough for me to have kept playing it without replacement for 2 years, if it was stolen id definately have another one, but possibly one of the other vintage SG models. Sounds great with a metal distortion. Whether ur startin out or need a solid back up for a more exspensive guiatr or even ur expereienced but on a budget, this is a wicked guitar.

This guitar was made in Korea or some place like that, apparently the same place as where they make the Epiphone Sg's. Standard SG Setup, 2 Humbuckers, 22 Frets, Tune-o-matic Bridge w/ a stop tailpiece, thin neck, 2 Tone and 2 volume controls. Mine was transparent wine red. The whole guitar is made out of Solid Mahogany. It also had chrome hardware and a 3-way switch.
It does well to copy the Gibson SG on the looks side, it does look like an amazing guitar, and for the price this is quite a hard thing to do, considering that other guitars of this price range are made out of fiberglass and god knows what else.

Sound : 9
I play mostly blues and metal, the older metal is usually better. Adrenaline did rock.
Im using a Peavey Bravo Tube amp (25W 3*12AX7's & 2*EL84's) and the bridge humbucker is an exceptionally good humbucker for this price range and manages to give me a good high level of distortion, which makes me happy. The Neck Pickup is also a good pickup, and manages to capture the tonal range of the whole guitar very well. The only downfall of the Humbuckers is that they have a high amount of feedback, but the indervidual tone pots sort that out while the 2 volume pots allow you to balance the volume between them.
Unplugged this guitar also sounds very good, the mohogany body gives a very rich and full sound.
Ill give it an 9 in this catagory because for the price this guitar is great and gives a good sg type sound that you would expect.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action was quite low, which i found useful at first, but then i realised that there was quite alot of buzz from the frets, so i adjusted the action. Thankfully, the guitar has a tune-o-matic bridge so its very easy to adjust.
8 here because it wasnt done properly, but i guess for the proce again, what do you expect?

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar would withstand live playing because it is so simple it would be easy to use, the hardware would probably last, i havnt seen it getting worse. The finish is think enough to keep going and polished up this guitar does look amazing. The strap buttons are chrome studs, so I doubt if youd want to chance playing live with them, however, they do their job well.
The only problem I had with this guitar is that the tune-o-matic bridge piece was not filed down properly and made a few strings break. However, I filed it down and now it is fine.
I doubt if id play live with it without a backup because of string breakage risks, etc. however here the key is simplicity, its a rock. And quite a light one at that.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I doubt if youll get very far with a guitar for this price to be honest, but i havnt tried so i wouldnt know

Overall Rating : 10
Ive been playing classical guitar for 8 years and electric for 1. Ive got a Peavey Bravo in a custom built head going into a peavey 1*12 extention open back cab and a custom built open back 1*12 extention cab.
Ive just bought a used Aria Pro II Excel series guitar and spend 4 hours setting the thing up after the last user decided it would work better in the rain. It has a Floyd Rose style Bridge and was a nightmare to set up. Its reminded me how good this guitar is, it is a get up and go guitar with a simple, yet very effective design, not forgetting a great sound.
I doubt truely if you could do better for your money. For this reason, ill give it a 10 here.
