A few weaks ago a bought a telecaster copy from Vintage. The guitar is transparent. In this guitar everything is used from Wilkinson. As the pickups (single coli), bridge (WTB) and tuners (deluxe WJ55) . The guitar is made in Korea.
The body is made of eastern popular and the neck is hard maple with Perloid inlay. The are 22 medium frets.

Sound : 10
I love the sound of The Pretenders en the twang sound of Chrissie Haynes. The sound of this guitar is realy the twang of a telecaster. The action if this guitar is so low, that it is easy to play. I've only seen such a low action from very expensive guitars.

In the beginning I it was a little noisy. But I bought a good guitar cable and it was over. The guitar has no fret-buzz.

This guitar keeps surpizing me.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The guitar was factory set-up. My dealer adjusted the guitar completely. I have the guitatrs now 2 weeks. There is no fret-buzz, and the guitar is still in tune.

Reliability/Durability : 9
They used Wilkinson parts and these a reliable. The finish is good.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
For the price I paid I got a perfect guitar. I wanted a telecaster with the twang sound and a low action. And I got one.

I compared it with a London city comet and some others. But this guitar is better.

Telecaster copy 6 bridge saddles - not 3 as advertised on their site. Strings through body. Blonde finish. Usual Teleacaster style hardware.

Sound : 7
Never owned a tele before. I have the Vintage Les Paul Deluxe copy and was very impressed with that. The sound is exactly what I'd expect, coutry and jazz tones just fall out of it, and crank up the overdrive and you are straight into Rolling Stones territory. The mid between pick ups setting is hum cancelling, not sure if that makes it authentic or not - but useful when there are noise sources nearby. I play through a Laney LC30 mkII valve amp, and have used it through Fender and Marshall amps.

Managed to compared it to a Fender custom Telecaster which cost #1500. There was very little difference EXCEPT at high volumes the Vintage started to squeal. Could be a problem at gigs - hopefully shileding will help.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Played well from the start but I put heaver strings on (11s) and did a bit of action and intonation adjustment. The finish seems fine - and for #99 I am not going to worry about slight imperfections.
I changed the strap buttons for strap locks. I have also changed the nut for a graphite one. Because....

Reliability/Durability : 2
...3 days after getting it I broke the nut. I was pulling on the lower string to even the tension and "ping"! The low E side of the nut broke off. Flimsy plastic piece of crap. I am still waiting for a replacement from JHS. In that time I have ordered a graphite nut, recieved it, sanded it to fit and it now works fine.

Customer Support : 2
I dealt with the online e-bay shop that I got it from, he was pretty quick to respond - so high marks for him, but JHS unfortunately have done nothing.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I really enjoy playing this guitar, and my problem with the nut could be a freak accident - manufacturing error that may never happen again. Don't be put off. Vintage guitars are worth every penny. I can spend a few quid getting the guitar shielded, and if needs be, buy better pick ups.

Some sort of far eastern origin tele copy - all the usual appointments, two single coils, three way selector etc.
Solid (ash?) body in see thru butterscotch, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Not sure if this is the same guitar as the previous reviewers because it DOES have thru - body stringing. The only thing I don't like at all is the Stratish headstock. Personal opinion and obviously to keep the laywers away, but I like a proper Tele haedstock - there is room to cut it down to the "right" shape if you so wished though.
All the appointments look promising.........

Sound : 10
WOAH!! The sound from the stock pickups is fantastic! The neck pickup is chimey, bell-like and musical. Roll off the tone a lil' and a lovely warm, jazzy tone is there. Superb.
But the best is yet to come - the bridge pickup is a MONSTER!! Very powerfull, good solid tone. Cutting chords or lead runs are all handled ably by this superior sounding budget guitar. I bought it expecting to have to replace the pickups but no way hosey - what with?! It would be impossible to find reasonably priced replacements that were nearly as good. Beat my mexican standard tele AND my USA Standard strat anyday!!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Ok, it's not perfect. The see-thru finish reveals quite an unatractive slab of wood (at least it is solid though and not ply) but there is bound to be comprimise at this price, and for those pickups I wouldn't care if it had a picture of Nora Batty on it.
The action is low, superb, easy to play. The neck front to back is a little to thin for me but that's just personal taste.
Everything as supplied was A OK.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Yeah it'll take a beating - it is very heavy; more like a weighty Les Paul than a Fender. Everything here is solid as a rock.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not had to.

Overall Rating : 10
It's a good un this. I've got a Mex 60s re-issue Fender on order and it will be interesting to see how they compare. The pickups, through body stringing and solid woods make this a bargain at less than a third of the price of the Fender.
I'd recommend this to anyone, it will certainly stay with me for a long time.

its a year 2000 tele copy made in korea. its supposedly made in the same factory as the epiphones and the squires.
it has all standard tele features mini-coil, singles 3 way selector vintages frets.. there are 21 frets.
the strings dont go thru the body they go thru the brighe/saddle but i dont think theres a loss in sound as ive tryed both.
its a maple neck and the body is composite.

its vastly better than those squires and comes in better colours squires come in leftovers fromm shredder shop it seems, i mean a purple tele?? the sound is a lot cleaner and it has plenty of sustain.

i would give it ten but the 3 way selector somtimes goes too far and doesnt selecet a pickup but its easy to sort out

Sound : 10
every1 who has tried this guitar likes it and i like it most because of the differant kind of tones i can get out of it. im runnin it thru a crap ampo but i can still get a good clean tone and also treblely disto which is how i like it. if you roll the tone pot over to the bass side its rich and full. its a little noisey but i thinks its the amp.

if u want varied tones buy this.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
the guitar was set with a low action and the pickups were just right.

the 3 way selecter is a bit noisey and it cna somtimes not selecdt a pickup but other wise its ok

Reliability/Durability : 8
i think it could stand up live as its not complex but then ive never played live (im 14 and cant find a band). teh hardware is good but im gonna get a new bridge pickup with more gain.
the paint job it good and thick as i stracted it w/ my belt buckle when i got it and it was only i minor starcth that u couldnt see.
strap buttons will last if u dont throw it around, i can depend on this but if i gigged with it id get better tuners and use a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never needed too

Overall Rating : 9
ive been playing for a year and i own this an encore strat which sux an argos aucostic with is cool and a kustom 10 watter which sux.
if this was stolen i'd save/beg dad to get me a mexican tele.
i love this guitar in general and its was better than the other vintage guiatars. i was goin 2 get a vintage SG but this came along and i had to have it!
