made by Wandre Pioli in Cavriago, Italy. he started making guitars in 1959. some kind of bakelite top with a wood back and sides. it has three Davilo pickups. these guitars are very rare and according to "the illustrated encyclopedia of electric guitars" the are "the most eccentric european guitars of any period in guitar history"
body dtyle is a modified les paul junior style with a pivoting neck joint - that allows for placing the neck at a suitable angle for your playing style - maybe 6 degrees each way paralle of the top. it also has an aluminum neck-through-tailpiece design and the headstock is also wood framed with aluminum. pioli sold his guitar factory in 1970
to start an art leather clothing business. he sold his guitars under the names - jennings UK, noble USA, dallas UK, wandre ITALY, krundall, avalon, orpheum - krundaal may have been the parent company of the davoli pickup company.
the intonation and string height adjustments are made with an overhead suspension type looking like an upsidedown tune-o-matis except you can rest your palm on it smoothly.
the neck is very narrow but kind of like half a baseball bat. straight as an arrow as it not .006 of an inch off over its length.
mine has a neat pushbutton pickup selector switch system that looks like the old chrysler automatic transmission pushbuttons of the 60's.
Sound

very unusal tone - it is a hollow body with a grille work covered airhole - but the three pickup sound great through the early 60's Danelectro Centurion all tube vintage amp that came with it from this garge sale find - but i didn't the amp - just the guitar - amp went to my friend

pickup adjust is made by a floating plate which seems almost isolated from the guitar itself -
Reliability/Durability

it is over forty years old and it plays great- so he must've built them to last
but i wouldn't take it of the house - value per last ebay sale over $3800 -
