Use this guitar for Rock, Hard Rock. Using it with a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100. 1960A Cab. It is one ripping guitar. Single coil sounds are not good, but I didn't buy the guitar to sound like a strat. It is great for what I bought it for. Stereo output, run one side of the cable to the amp and the other side into the board. The side running to the board sounds just like an acoustic guitar thanks to the L.R. Baggs T Bridge. The Control X allows me to blend the electric guitar and acoustic guitar signal. SOunds like I have two guitars playing at the same time. Very cool. Very versatile. 9 given because the tone is a little harsh. Have to back the treble and presence settings on the amp almost to zero. Warrior says they have special circuitry. So, I'm not sure if the tone is due to the Duncan's or the "special" circuitry. But once I compensated by turning down the treble and presence on my amp the tone was perfect.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action on this guitar is the best I have ever played. I own strats, teles, PRS CE22, PRS Custom 24, and the action on this is much better. Super low and no buzz whatsoever.

Finish is natural. Let that 100 year old Mahogony breathe. Oil finish. Beatiful guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Solid as a rock. No problems at all. Strap buttons recessed into body of guitar, solid. I would never gig without a backup with any guitar. If you break a string in the middle of a song and don't have a back up your screwed.

Customer Support : 10
I dealt with Dran when having this guitar built. Very responsive. Super nice guy.

Overall Rating : 9
Been playing for 18 years. 10 professionally. I would definitely replace this if stolen. Will order another one as soon as possible.

Only complaint is very pricey if you get a custom one. You can get a few models at Sam Ash, but the wood is not aged as long and you can't get the T Bridge or Control X on those stock guitars.

Sustain is good, far better than I expected with such a light guitar, better than my LP's...
The humbuckers in single coil don't quack, but I'll live without some quack so I don't have to switch to a strat/tele for a cover song.

The pickups were a lot hotter and muddier than the same pickup configuration it seemed on a LP.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
The good:
Fret crowns were good if not a little better than say an Ibanez prestige crown job.
Action was very low with no buzz on A-High E strings.
Controls were solid and noiseless
The bad:
Some frets have very small gaps between the bottom of the fret and the fretboard, nothing huge, but noticeable to a diserning eye. Still level on the top though. Disappointing as my 400 dollar dollar guitars don't have this.
Nut cut to a hair to low on the Low E string causing a bit of buzz through the amplifier.
Finish was supposed to be a satin finish but anything other than their oil/wax finish. It was an oil/wax finish.
One of the inlays was cracked when I opened it up.
Inlay was cracked on the 3rd fret, sent back for repair.

Reliability/Durability : 4
Oil/wax finish = pain to upkeep and keep unstained, dark marks if I were to play this a lot, etc. I was afraid to touch it, one night with the band and this will be stained from something. Hence the reason I ordered without an oil/wax finish, been there done that and don't want to do it again.

Well, the sales people are extremely attentive when you are ordering a guitar, kind of have a used car salesmen feel as they say things like ???Pal??? and "great deal because your a friend" and also using lines like ???last one on the bench??? or ???the finisher will be leaving today so you better order now???. After that they serve as your service rep and they are not attentive at all. The warranty is not transferable and you can not return the guitar, they promised to me send pictures twice, they didn't either time. Your only option when you get a pile of refuse is to sell it at a huge loss unless you can be dishonest,

The guitar wasn't what I ordered or wanted. I played an oil/wax guitar of theirs in Ohio and was amazed. I wanted everything except the oil/wax finish. The entire reason I even put this order in, that guitar, no oil/wax finish. I got an oil/wax finished guitar. I can attribute this to the confusion surrounding satin and that the only satin finish they have done is oil/wax. Without bringing a lawsuit, which would cost me more in time than I'd gain my options are to sell it or 'trade it in' on another guitar. They were willing to give me a full dollar amount for a trade in. I took them up on the offer because I should have gone with Mahagony and flame maple instead of the alder body since the one I played previously was alder. You may be thinking why go through this again, well, the first one I played was the only guitar I have ever picked up and fell in love with.

I'll give them a second try and will follow up with a review of that one. Though, I must say, it isn't looking terribly great at this point. I requested a satin nitro finish, they called saying that they did it, but it has noticeable dust nibs in the finish. The nitro they got they stated doesn't allow buffing. It must have been a brand that uses something other than silica to create the satin. Who knows. Either way, they are going to remove the nitro and shoot a poly on it.
