Features : 10
Warrior is hand made in Rossville, GA. The instruments can be customized to customers requests. Several listed custom options are available for you to choose from, some of which never would have occured to me. The choice of tone woods alone make it hard to select one instrument. The Guardian model has a 24 fret neck with true access to all positions. The body and neck are of aged mahogony and the top is carved from flamed maple. Carved or Sculpted is more an appropriate word for the shape of this instrument. It is comfortable, light and resonate. Its shape is very unique, beautiful and ergonomic. The construction, attention to detail and the body's design take the best ideas from all the established classic shapes, blends them and presents a new ideal for looks and playability. Never, in 20 years of my playing and being involved in the Music Industry was I as impressed by an instrument as much as I am with this one.

Sound : 10
This instrument receives a 10 from me because I have finally found the sounds I have been looking for from a guitar, minus all overdrive, boutique tone pedals and sound processing gizmos. The guitar and my Budda Amp give me the elusive signature tone I have been searching. It responds to the smallest nuances of playing style (fretted and picked). It has a tone personality of it own, not Paul not Strat, but unique to itself. It sings clear, growels when expected all with a class of its own. I mostly play blues but this instrument can give new interpretations to to any style: jazz, rock, funk are all there with a color that differs from other guitars. If you are looking to duplicate a Strat or Paul, get a Strat or Paul or any boutique encarnation of those, however, if you want to hear something new, give the Warrior an audition. Sound and tone are a matter of personal taste and choice, maybe this instrument will surprise and impress you as much as it did me.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
This is not an inexpensive instrument and fortunatly the workmanship, set-up and finish live up to the value of the asking price. There are many inflated prices set on various guitars currently being marketed. In my estimation Warrior if compared to the others is undervalued. I usually like to set up my action myself, to suit my playing style and preferences. The guitar came set up perfectly with low action and light strings. What was more important to me is that I found my feel and adjustments without any hassels in having to finish off frets, cope with intonation problems or deal with imprecise construction.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
This guitar is built with aged woods, over 100 years old. Its tone, components and feel all suggest a very stable and dependable performing partner.

Customer Support : 10
JD and Ronn are great, very helpful and concerned with your total satisfaction.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for over 30 years and work in pro-audio. I own custom Baroque Lutes, acoustic guitars and had a variety of electrics. Played old Fenders and Pauls, a Zion Bent Top, a Pensa-Shur, etc...This guitar really captured my imagination.
