Washburn PRO Maverick Series. 22 Frets
Sunburst body
Neck woods = dark, mahogany I would say, top of neck where tuners are is black with white washburn logo --> looks nice definitely
String-thru Body
Scale of the neck is a bit smaller than normal. Frets are somewhat closer to each other than on a standard guitar, which makes it great for learning to play a solo, it's not bad a s a first guitar like I said but comes out of tune immediately. No included accesories. 5way selcetor, made in USA
Sound

The sound was good however there's a lot of buzz/fuzz especially when you put the 5 way selector in lower modes, it plays very very smooth though
Good sound for the price
Action, Fit, & Finish

Nicely finished, however the knobs came off after playing it for 2 years, they weren't -in my opinion- very well adjusted like they should on a decent guitar... The 5 way selector was good however...
Positive about the guitar is that it looks very very good, when in mint condition, nice finishing
Reliability/Durability

I now own this guitar for 7 years, but the knobs came already off after two years, the 5 way selector is bend now, it really isn't that strong/you have better quality guitars for the price I believe. I wouldn't say you can depend on it, since it comes out of tune after each solo you play ! Bad reliability.durability in my opinion

It's good for the price, and ok as a first guitar. (served as my first guitar) but it's always out of tune immediately. When you play a solo or just bend one snare a few times, it's already out of tune! extremely annoying, I think you're -for the same price- better off with a Fender Squier... Nice playing though since it's very light and extremely smooth to play... and looks good when in mint condition

the QCS stands for Quilted Cherry Sunburst
Alder Body with a Quilted Maple Cap, bolt neck, rosewood fretboard,
dot inlays, S/S/H with a 5 way selector.
duh, this GUITAR costs 1/3 the price of a Bullion PAINT job on a LP deluxe

this was my first whammy bar. keeping a strat type bridge in tune is an art
the pickups are suprisingly good, fairly high output, and well balanced.
I replaced the pickups on my LP custom, and Schecter C1Elite. I didn't need to on the BT4
this is also my only bolt neck guitar, Im suprised how well it sustains
especially, considering the weight, its very light

set up well, very well made, and the action is unbelievable.
I've played ALOT of guitars in 30 years, and this is the best action
I've ever seen on a bolt neck. Its comparable with the two best
set necks I've played, a SG custom, an a Carvin SC.
the one negative I noticed is a result of the strat bridge design,
the saddle height is adjusted with set screws that poke your hand if when you lower the strings... now that its setup, the next string change
I'll have to pull the saddles, count threads, and grind the BOTTOM of the screws to make the TOPS flush :)

I don't know if it'll snap a headstock like a Gibson and I don't want
to find out. Alder probably wont take the beating Mahogany will.
an Inexpensive guitar with inexpensive parts ... as the previous poster noted
the switch and electronics will probably be the first to go

This is the Best Value I've ever seen.
I'd recommend the BT2Q, because of the easier tuning stop tailpiece,
as the best full size student instrument available.
the Thin neck is easy for smaller hands, the action minimizes hand fatigue,
the body shape moves the headstock closer for those beginning open chords and strings, and its Lite
high register access is a bit cramped, because the of body design,
but the trick is to pivot the guitar on your right hip, or keep it flat
and push it to your left one.
Inexpensive, outstanding workmanship, beautiful.
if you can find a better $200 guitar, BUY IT

Very good guitar -- the 5 way switch original stock was flakey and felt cheap -- I replaced the 5 way with a CRL(fender stock brand) as well as a high quality Switchcraft 1/4" jack, and new Clarostat Pots. Original stock pickups were retained. Wonderful sounding instrument after beefing up the electronics... I have never owned this inexpensive of a guitar and had it sound and look sooo good!!
