Features : 10
it was made in '84.. i think thats the first two numbers of the serial number. It was made in japan and it has 24 fat ,fat frets ...plays like a "SRV" STRAT..It is a solid basswood body painted black ,with red with red neck inlays ,and neck/body binding..It features two black hardware and knobs and covered g-r-e-a-t sounding coverd HUMBUCKING PICK-UPS .....that of which they are ACTIVE!!! and its got an old like square-like steinburger body......... it has a black painted solid-brass stop tailpiece with tune-o-matic type bridge...its tailpiece is differrent because you dont have to have a double nickel wound set of strings you can tighten them to a small clamp with an allen key wrench....very unique.....the tuners are locking and on the end of the guitar by the tailpiece (cause its headless)its a set neck thats got some meat on it like a SRV SRAT and it included a ginuine leather gig bag and allen key wrenches in every size needed..

Sound : 10
i have lots of styles im only 14 and playin srv voodoo chile...but overall i play punk rock and some blues.i play it with either my crate amp and use its bone crunching distortion...or my EGNATER AND MARSHALL 900 cab....or my dc-5 mesa boogie 1/4 stack(1 bottom mesa speaker) its a full rich sound but can get a hollow, warm sound also..nice low ends with bright highs.. i dont hav a problem with it at all it plays and sounds awsome.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
its setupsucked but i fixed that....and the action was pretty high.. the pickups were perfectly adjusted............. it is a flawless wel made guitar

Reliability/Durability : 8
this could easily with stand live playing and the hardware is heavy heavy duty(indestructable) the finish seems like it would last forever ..... the strap buttons are locking.....and i will and can depend on it... no.i would never ever use any guitar without backup..ever

Customer Support : 6
they were acting like they were incredebly busy and gave short short answers to my ?'s....it comes with a lifelong warranty........

Overall Rating : 10
i have been playin since 10....im 14.....i own a fen. duo-sonic,a 1984 strat with texas special pick ups.and a home made guitar with a carvin line coil and a gibson humbucker....i couldnt ever buy this guitar again if i lost it...its a once in a lifetime chance to get one of these.....i love the humbuckers.....yea i compared it to my strat it plys like my fat meaty neck on my strat and it has huge fat frets.
