If you're reading this you no doubt know what it is so I won't snore you with those details ad nauseum.

I love the ZW EMG's. I also dig that this rig doesn't have the logo accoutrement that alot of BSG customs do. I love understated but deadly.

Came with a certificate from BSG authenticating #31 of 50.

Hard to believe that an import comes with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, Tone Pros Bridge System, 18:1 Grovers, ebony fret board on a mahogany set neck and real deal EMG active pickups as standard equipment...

Great clean, great for blues, great for crunchy old school hard rock, and absolutely slaps you silly metal.

Not too dark, not too bright, just right.

It's very full sounding, very well setup. I believe Fred Kowalo (BLS, Megadeath, etc.) set this rig up. It plays like buttah.

I love how inauspicious this rig is yet beautiful. It exudes power and beauty with that crazy silly flame carved top and transparent finish.

It's fast and I immediately bonded with it.

Was set up expertly by Fred at BSG. The pups were perfectly balanced which can be difficult to achieve with active EMG's, but Fred dialed 'er in!

The top is a book matched, carved beautifully AAA flamed top and the finish was perfect.

The ebony fretboard is a joy to play and I love the no dots thing! I dig the BoogieMan on the first fret, very cool!

Everything appears to be dialed in to my liking.

Of course this can be played live, that's what it was specifically designed for, yet it's not outrageously overpriced.

I believe they were 875.00 brand new with the BSG hard hsell case and shipped free.

I bought mine used but I don't think they played it much if at all. Score!

I never gig without a backup, ever, but if everything else by some cruel set of circumstances were to leave it as the sole instrument to be relied upon, I believe we would carry on like troopers and be the better for it!

Changed the buttons to Dunlop strap locks but the stock pins look great too.

Not sure what BSG would do for me since I bought it used from someone other than them, although I would hope that since I own a few of their other rigs, I would at least get a return email.... I hope.

Never had to deal with them, but it's been hit or miss a few times on sales questions. Also I got kind of iced out once they learned I wasn't buying my rigs from them which was kind of odd because it's not my fault they didn't have the models I was interested in, in stock, they had sold out!

So while I understand their point of view, I think they would do well to learn from the Mesa Boogie and Keeley Electronics model. They have absolutely perfected the fine art of customer support and customer satisfaction!

I recall calling both Boogie and Keeley regarding questions on items I had purchased used from other sources and they treated me as if I had bought the thing new from them.

No wonder they're as hugely successful as they are and have been for many many years. Imagine if I could call about a hat order and get treated like a valued customer what I would do when I had the $ set aside for my next acquisition?

I'd like to see them step it up. I'd also encourage them to strive to provide the weekly video updates because that's a unique offering and for them to return emails even to us mere mortals that don't buy 10 Rico Vixens a year!

It would also help me as a potential buyer to have much better quality pictures of their offerings. I've not been able to see the true quality of finish with the way they take pictures.

I sense they're a great company with vast potential which I don't believe is being realized and I hope they get wind of this and take my suggestions into consideration.

30+ years, and have accumulated enough gear to start another band war.

This guitar rivals any USA Custom Shop LP or PRS single cut that go for at least twice as much imo in build, beauty, features, & tone quality.

Flamed Maple top finish, black finished mahogany body, ebony fretboard, TonePro bridge, Grover 18-1 tuners, thin and fast neck. Zakk Wylde signature EMG pickups, two tone and two volume knobs.
This guitar is SICK! It is a really beautiful looking axe. You won't find these features on another guitar at this price.

Rock, rock and more rock!! Currently using with a Marshall MG30DFX amp, Boss distortion pedal, Boss wah and Danelectro Chilli dog octave.

The pickups are completely alive, red hot and ready to rock. In my opinion they have a great clean sound too, although the neck pickup seems to have a higher output. All in all very, very good. If I were to buy another one, I'd put in a Bill Lawrence L-500XL in the bridge and a L-500R in the neck (from Bill and Becky, not the Washburn stock Bill Lawrence USA as they SUCK).

The finish is very, very good considering it is a Korean import. I've played Washburns for many years and as much as I like them, I've generally had to do a lot of work on the USA Custom Shop models when they arrive in factory condition (fret levelling, setup and even had to connect a pickup once as it wasn't even wired in!!!) - which of course is a pain in the backside considering they seem to be very confident of their products. Don't get me wrong the guitar builds are generally very good, but the final finish is sometimes lacking.

This guitar however is a Korean import and was setup by Fred Kowalo (ex Zakk Wylde guitar tech) before being despatched from Boogie Street and just needed a quick tuning. The action is superb and the general finish on the guitar is great. A couple of small binding imperfections and some scuffs on the back of the guitar which I've mentioned to Eric from Boogie Street as it's supposed to be new.

The mother of pearl Boogieman inlay on the first fret is amazing!

Reliability/Durability : 10
Very, very solid, would trust it gigging completely. Everything seems well set and stable.

Eric is a VERY friendly guy. Always emails you back very quickly and is extremely helpful. The only thing I could complain about is that I asked twice for the tracking number (I'm in the UK) and he seemed to ignore those emails, but in the end it turned up within 5 working days, so I can't complain.

Love it. A great guitar. Even the case is an eye catcher!! Black with leopard skin effect interior!!

Keep it up Boogie Street!
