I purchased this guitar about 10 years ago and is a modern day classical because of the cut away and the Equis II three band pick up. It is a very beautiful guitar with gold tuners. Most of my photo shoots are whith this solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides guitar.

It took me a long time to understand this but there are very few classical guitars that sound outstanding while unpluged and also while plugged in. Mine has a very thick cedar top and therefore it sounds good unplugged but the strength and the reason this guitar was made was to be an amplified guitar. The top is thick to prevent feedback so there is a trade off. This guitar sounds huge amplified!!!!!!!!! and just OK in the living room.

My biggest complaint was that the strings were to close togeather and was harder to play than others. Well after ten years I hade the spacing of the strings further apart with a new nut and drilling new holes on the bridge and filled in the old holes with rosewood. Now it plays like a dream and ended my quest for a better playing classical.
