Two words.... Spruce Top! For the money you will be hard up to find another spruce top guitar. As someone who grew up in a home where guitars were being manufactured, I can tell you, spruce top guitars age like wine... They just sound better as the years roll by. Ply-wood top guitars just age......

ehh.. It sounds like a guitar... I am a finger-picker and this guitar sounds good through the full range. Nothing to write home about when comparing to Martin's, Gibson's, etc. but.... WAIT! look at the price! Again, for the money, this guitar sounds incredible.

Well the finish goes without saying... It's Beautiful! (exept that it attracts fingerprints) The action, on the other hand, like almost all factory guitars, is set up for a beginner. Good low action close to the frets up on the first 5 or so frets... where most beginners play. As you become more advanced and play further down the board action becomes a bit high.

Well one bad mark, my strap peg did just slide right out the first time I fitted 'er up, nothing a little glue couldn't fix though. As far as the rest.. I've had mine for only a year but in a house with 3 toddlers, recent visits from 4 others (cousins), at least an hour a day of jam time - 7 days a week usually more like 4 hours (I don't work), and live shows once every month or 2, and she has taken it all in stride. Seem like a solid guitar with a durable finish.

I've been playing 9 years, own LOTS-O-STUFF ranging from my newest - 2002 washburn d-10, to my oldest - late 19th century (unreadable)gibson A-style mandolin (played daily, sounds heavenly) I have a hand made Martin Dreadnought, and a $99 Fender, this one falls somewhere in the middle. Without spending about $400 I don't think you'll find to many that compare to this baby though.

Nothing special, your standard acoustic guitar with an average neck size and black finish.

Great sounding guitar for the price...use a seymour duncan set-in pickup and your good to go. Nice bright sound playing open chords and rhythm styles, even does well for lead.

This guitar can withstand a hurricaine. Extremely durable whether your counting on the finish all the way to the strap buttons. Very dependable with no worries.

I've been playing for over 12 years and own nothing but washburns. Very dependable, durable, and great sounding. Overall this is one of my best guitars as well as every other washburn made guitar.

I mostly play rock ballads.I recently played a Martin in a store and my baby CAN compare with. The high tone is even better. Maybe playing high barres sounds not good as Martin but has a decent sound. It's not a guitar for playing hard rythem, but it shines in finger playing and harmonys.

I been looking a lot of time for an acustic guitar for the price under 200$. Played a lot of Fenders, Epiphones, Ibanez but none of them can compare. Maybe I will buy a Martin but i will probably keep this black baby at home.
