I just bought this incredible Monster Guitar!! Brand new, made in 2002, hand made in USA by Wayne Charvel. The body is solid Mahogany, with one seymour duncan, bridge humbucker and a hard tell string throught the body bridge, One volume control. Fret board is Maple with a Rose wood fret board, 22 frets. It also came with a USA made hard shell wood case.

This guitar suits my music style perfect! I play 80's style kick ass rock 'n roll, ie. Van Halen/Warren De Martini. Guitar is a no frills guitar, one volume, one pick-up. What more do you need for that style of music? There's not a lot of variety, if you're a jazz or blues player, you might consider getting one of these with a neck humbucker. For my style of music, I didn't need a humbucker, that's why I didn't get one.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action is perfect, right out of the box!! Intonation was set perfectly, neck fits great. This guitar was ready to gig-with right out of the box.

This guitar is built like a tank! Hardware looks great, gotoh keys, seymour duncan pick-ups. All first rate hardware! I would definately gig with this guitar without worrying about a back-up.

I called the factory a few times, and talked to Michael. He seemed very cool and supportive on the phone. Both Wayne and Michael seem like great, down to earth guys. I don't forsee any future problems with the guitar.

I've been playing for 18 years, and owned all kinds of equipment. Bang for the buck, this guitar flat out kicks! Actually, I have other higher priced guitars that aren't as good as this guitar. If it were stolen or lost, I would quit my day job and track down the thief. I would get my guitar back and torture the thief for 30 days. If you haven't tried one of these guitars, you've gotta try it! They're hard to track down, but they're worth it!!
