The 5712c sounds like a Grand Auditorium sized guitar should. It has nice bite with lots of midrange and a tight low end. With three pickups to choose from you're bound to find an amplified tone you like.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar is Plek'd by Wechter's Indiana shop prior to shipping to ensure it's as playable as it can be. Mine arrived with low action that was effortless to play. The spruce top is glossy while the rosewood back and sides are "open pore" finished. There were no notable action, fit, or finish flaws.
Reliability/Durability

The 5712c only has one strap button so you'll have to add one or use the required strap if you intend to stand and play. The guitar is made in China, setup in the U.S. and the build quality is first rate.

"Wechter Guitars carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner for the guitar, and a 3 year warranty for electronics. Proof of purchase will be required to validate ownership and date of purchase on all warranty repairs" - from their website.

This is currently an excellent deal. Some retailers are moving these for under $500. If you are looking for a gigging guitar with a solid Spruce top with lots of amplified tone possibilities in a Grand Auditorium size you should check the 5712c out.
